Hi y’all:
Well, it’s another day of Big Brother news and that means another day of the men pretty much dominating the house.
Last night, as we all saw, Brittany was voted out of the house. She did not manage to get one single vote. And while I do feel a little bit sorry for Brittany (and she certainly looked surprised by the results), I really have to say that she has no one to blame but herself. Up until the moment she was leaving the house, Brittany seemed to sincerely believe that she could stay by convincing everyone that she was actually playing the game. It was almost as if she was saying, “Let me stay because I might win.” What she failed to consider was that other people in the house want to win as well.
After Brittany left, the remaining HGs competed for HoH. Because his grandfather had died, Derrick threw the competition so that Frankie could win HoH for the third time. When it happened, a lot of people online seemed to think that this was a sweet move on Derrick’s part. Myself, I think it just shows how confident Derrick is that he’s not going to get nominated.
What was truly surprising was that the other HoH spot was won by …. ZACH! Zach is truly the HG that people seem to either love or hate this season. At first, I didn’t care much for him and there are still moments when he gets on my nerves. But, for the most part, I’ve grown to appreciate Zach. He frequently is funny and, though he might sometimes be obnoxious, he can also be trusted to put into words what a lot of us at home are thinking.
At first, both Frankie and Zach were talking about either nominating or backdooring Caleb this week. However, things quickly reverted back to normal as Frankie and Zach set their sights on getting rid of another female.
They spent most of last night tossing out various names and scenarios and they changed their minds quite a bit. However, as of right now, it looks like the following will happen at today’s nomination ceremony:
Zach will nominate Nicole and Christine.
Frankie will nominate Jocasta and Victoria.
Derrick and Frankie, embracing their latest Team America task of starting a fight at the nomination ceremony, told Zach that he needs to call out Christine when he nominates her. Zach is going to accuse Christine of being the biggest floater in the game. Zach spent a lot of time last night practicing his nomination speech and, if he goes through with it, it’ll be interesting to see Christine’s reaction.
Everyone assumes that Nicole and Christine will be able to win the Battle of the Block, which will leave Jocasta and Victoria as the nominees and Frankie as the sole HoH. And nobody seems to have a problem with sending either Jocasta or Victoria home next week. However, in typical Big Brother fashion, there’s also been a lot of talk about backdooring someone this week.
Who?
Well, the obvious target would be Caleb but, amazingly, Frankie also briefly considering backdooring Zach. That would be amazing to see but also somewhat sad because Zach would probably go home and, love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Zach keeps the house interesting. Add to that, if Frankie did backdoor Zach, it’ll cause massive anguish for all the Team Zrankie people on twitter. Frankie’s reasoning is not totally out there — Zach could be a liability in the future and Frankie has plenty of other allies in the house.
However, as of right now, it looks like Frankie would probably backdoor Amber before going after either Caleb or Zach. And let me just say that if Amber goes home next week, I wouldn’t want to have to be the one who had to live in the same house as Caleb.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I watched bbad only a short time, it came on so late, and my head was spinning between Zach and Frankie who was going to be put up, every time they talked to a hg it was changed, oy vey. I did hear donnnys name but Zach said he is not putting donnny up it is not fair to have him up every week. Frankie agreed and in the breath Donny was mentioned again.
I cant recall who said it think was cody to Zach and Frankie, how about Christine, he did not know z already approached Christine and of course she will not do it.
OK someone correct me if I am wrong, BUT, isn’t it up to the hoh who to put up and not ask and then comply when hgs says no.
anyway cody said how about christinte, WHAT HAS SHE DONE? NOTHING, so that got Zach thinking hmmmm Christine. I am happy if she goes up, she has a lot to say about goings on but has not done a thing, and she is after Donny lol, so that alone makes me upset lol.
Donny made the point about re nom and back door, he said not yet for caleb, we need to get amber out as of now we have 2 bodies to contend with as amber is protected by caleb,
which makes sense. that move will either make or break caleb. and thus spare amber from being in jury house waiting for caleb.
well, that is it, cant wait for nom ceremony, and I love the idea for Zach to call out Christine great idea.

As for Derrick “throwing” the comp to Frank; I don’t think he had to make it so obvious. Frankie could have won on his own. But it was a grand gesture and does show Derrick’s maturity in playing this game. Frankly, I don’t care who goes home but the girls stink as players. IMHO

I almost wish that Amber and Donny would form an alliance and detonate the Detonators. Amber seems to realize that she is on the outs now with the guys and I think Donny is getting tired of being put up as a pawn all the time. He seems to realize someone is pulling the strings and the puppet masters seem to be Derrick and Frankie. I didn’t like how they all had to look towards Derrick and Frankie to decide who to put up in the HOH competition last night. Seems like they are all using only ONE brain and it may be Derricks.

@Watchdog – I agree with you about Donny and Amber forming an alliance. I think Amber is a great competitor and is getting a bad wrap because of that albatross (Caleb) around her neck! It would be great to see them bring in Hayden, Cody, Nicole and maybe use Caleb for a short time in case of endurance challenges. Oh if only this would happen, as I would love to see Derrick, Frankie and Zach wet their pants!!

Donny’s a super nice guy and blah blah blah. Yeah, he’s Americas Sweethart and YES I like the guy too. But when people say he “deserves to win because he’s nice and honest…etc.” I’m like WHAT? This is BB. Lie cheat and steal your way to the top. That way more fun for us, the viewer. I think the best thing would be if Donny pulled what they cal in the pro wrestling business, a “heel turn”. Turn into the bad guy and shock the shit out of everyone. Be nice, till its time to not be nice….like Swayze said in Road House. 😉
OK, after that little rant, I agree about Zack. He would drive me nuts if I lived in that house with him, but he is a wild card and has the ability to shake things up. I like that as a viewer.
The girls better start wining some HOH’s cuz its gonna be a clean sweep if they don’t. It just a matter of time before all the girls outside the alliance are gone. Christine and Amber are gonna get tossed too. Anyone remember Britney Haynes from BB12 and the Renegades? Looks like the same thing is gonna happen IMO.
I wanna see some BB twists. There really hasn’t been any other than the Team America thing, BoB, and the have nots being decided by that tracker thingy. Yeah, we’ll get a double eviction or a fast forward week, maybe a Pandoras Box….but what else? Someone coming back into the game maybe? I don’t know…I just want to see some action.
Everyone seems to be playing things so safe, which is smart I suppose if you want to get to the end and not get a lot of blood on your hands, but its just kinda hum drum. I liked Dr. Will, or Evel Dick, or Dan….some suprise back door action, and I’m not talking about Frankie and Zack….Hiyooo! ;-).
A total blind side of Caleb would be pretty sweet, but the guys know they can use him so that’s probably not gonna happen. Cody really should have done it, but cooler heads prevailed and he got out of the week relatively unscathed. Donny needs to step up his game and get a little dirty.
OK, sorry for the long post. That’s just one mans opinion who’s watched BB since day one. I just wanna see some major moves. Survivor last season was awesome….and it was awesome because of the great/crazy moves.

Another boring week of nominations and a predictable eviction as soon as “they” (Frankie and Derrick, mostly) decide who they want out of the house. Everybody will vote the way they are told to vote. Can this season get any more boring? For once I wish the producers would interfere with the game and through a wrench into the plans just to spice things up.

I was on live feeds for about half hour, in all that time maybe 10 words were spoken by the houseguests. they all r in the living room, u can hear a pin drop. Frankie did ask derrick a questions or 2 that was it, then Christine got up to change clothes and use potty, Donny used potty but both went back. Zach left and is asleep now in bathroom,

OMG!! I was just reading jokers for a quick update on my cell, when I saw the news. I thought I’d read it wrong!!! WHO would ever have imagined the death of two grandfathers on the same BB in the sasme week!! Derrick was so kind to Frankie by throwing the HOH to him, it’s almost like he had a premonition, as he put himself so emotionally into Frankie’s place. What a shock!!! I had a feeling those two would go the farthesst in the game anyway, but now who is going to ever want to vote them off?? I wonder if production is going crazy trying to figure out how all this is going to affect the show.
RIP Derrick’s grandfather. I hope he is up in Heaven with Frankie’s, watching down at how they are playing and giving them strength.
Frankie is being there for Derr , says he will be hsi rock. He even told BB that he would take Derricks slop for the week, but Der said no. He doesn’t want any special treatment. BBAD will be like a funeral dirge tonight. Poor guys.

I had a feeling a double eviction would happen last Thursday or this coming Thursday. I don’t see that happening now. Julie will show footage like last week of Derrick, send her condolences, etc. and it will likely not leave time and also be awkward. “I’m sorry to hear of his passing, now race your asses off to get all the comps done in a hour”. I don’t think so.

M&M….the season wasn’t going so well anyway. Too quiet and predictable. Now there are 2 deaths hanging over it. How does anyone cope with that? It’s almost like they should pull the show. How do people act entertaining after this?? Or even normal? For many reasons I kept saying it was a strange summer, including the weather. This just adds an eerier demention.

Star, did you hear that one of Nicole’s uncles also passed away near the start of the show? The family choose not to tell her. I just read this on another site. They were talking about the death hold on this years HGs. Derrick also lost another grandparent just before he went into sequester.

And I was thinking the same thinng about the Christine/Britany compariosn. It’s like the Detonators are playing exactly the same game only..wasn’t it the Brigade?? I thought Dan and Memphis’ alliance was the Renegades. I could be wrong tho. After 16 seasons, things start to get a little fuzzy!!lol
I feel the same about Donny too. Sweetest man ever but this IS BB, not a Kindest Person on Earth show. He somehow needs to get an allaince together and someone needs to upset the male apple cart if they expect to survive. Altho, I always think the person who deserves to win BB should. I also agree about some shaking up. Most Vets are usually haning around just waiting to be asked back on. And i think that is exactly what we need right now. But not just to Host a gameshow. Somehow to get introduced into the game. At least temporarily. Maybe they could come in Pandora’s box to replace an HG after an eviction. I dunno. BB pays people to come up with this stuff. Supposedly..lol

Well, at least this answer’s the age old question of how production deals with family issues of HG’s. My heart goes out to Derrick and his family. It is interesting the different styles of grief. In part due to the difference’s in their personalities and possibly in part due to the nature of the relationships.
On a lighter note.. Nicole, Victoria, Donny, Hayden and Caleb chatting in the living room. Caleb talking about how he had a TV show bought by TruTV of him and his family as hunters helping game wardens stop poaching and filmed a pilot but it got dropped. Then he was going to do his own show where he would take “unattractive” women on “dream dates” to uplift them, because he’s all about uplifting people. Hayden bails. Then Caleb was offered Survivor but chose Big Brother. Caleb was going to do the Bachelor and may still, now that he has his BB cred. Bachelor does extensive background to make sure they don’t get any crazies (EPIC FAIL CALEB). Nicole oh, uh-huing. Donny and Victoria silent… Indoor lockdown over, everyone runs. Nicole and the rest dying of laughter. She was trying to keep a straight face thru the whole think and not lock eyes with the guys so she wouldn’t lose it laughing in his face. Yeah Brit, Caleb is the brains in the house!!! Caleb missed talking about his almost made it on The Voice.. Can you say reality show tramp???
Going to be a slow night I’m afraid. Can’t wait for the POV challenge tomorrow.
Big Brother will do a piece Sunday night on Derricks GPA. Thursday will be a double with the end of dual HOH’s. First evictee goes home, second to the jury. Depending on POV Amber or Caleb will be replacement targets. Sounds like since Frankie stayed HOH it will be Amber since he know’s she’s onto him. Thus ending the CAmber summer romance. 🙂

At least that I had heard. This group certainly isn’t as open and talkative as most years. After all these weeks, they still feel awkward together to me. I think that is why there are no showmances either. Maybe any HGS would have been more uptight after last year…or maybe it’s just after watching so many seasons of BB they are learning to keep things to themselves. Or maybe it’s just that most of them never even HEARD of BB before they auditioned or got plucked from obscurity for their 15 minutes of fame!!lol Whatedver it is, it’s not great TV and now it’s depressing too. How can you forget the renegades? The Brigade are pretty forgettable IMO. I thought Dan was great that season and so fun to watch, funny the other seasons I didn’t like him at all. I also loved it when he was doing an impression of Renny and Renny started saying he liked to dress up. Those were the days with BB, I don’t think they will ever have anymore great ones, very sad indeed. IMO the best seasons were 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 after that they were either bad or mediocre. 🙁

With all the deaths surrounding this season it is reassuring that Donny will be there to console and be real. Because he is. And why shouldn’t a good guy win? Donny has noticed many things about the alliances he is not in. Doubtful he will call anybody out on lying and bs’ing him but he ain’t no dummy.

What a series of unfortunate events … Does anyone else think it’s a bit strange that 2 of the 3 TA players grandfathers passed away while they are on BB? We have to think about Donny during this sad time, and pray he will not get bad news too, as he is the third person of that group, and things happen in threes. I have to wonder if he has given any thought to that as well.
I wonder if Derrick will leave and help his kids get thru the loss as a family….The main reason Derrick is IN the house to begin with is to win money for his FAMILY. It would be a personal decision whether or not he wanted to leave. Has anyone heard if he has made a decision about that?
My prayers and condolences go out to Derrick and Frankie and their families. Can this get any more depressing! I feel so bad for these guys! 🙁

Hi Frannie, Derrick is not going to leave the BB house. It certainly is sad both Derrick and Frankie lost their grandfathers. I am sure they have mixed emotions and are struggling with themselves on their decisions to stay.
Last night on BBAD I wanted to reach into my television set and strangle Victoria!! Derrick was lying down by himself in one of the bedrooms, probably just wanting some time to himself to reflect on his grandfather and family. Well this didn’t last long, as in comes the B**** whining to him about being put up on the block! I was furious! This girl does not have a brain in her head. Derrick had bigger things on his mind and this interruption just goes to show what an entitled B**** she is! I thought this was shameful, as Victoria did not seem to care and was only thinking of herself (she really has a me, me, me mind set!!) I wish production had interrupted this conversation and called her into the DR to tell her to leave him alone!! I want her gone!!!

Frannie, I heard this too, not sure if it is true. There was nothing I could find in the Michigan papers about this and I couldn’t find anything to confirm this on Google. Betty, as for Vic interrupting Derrick – very rude indeed – her problem seems to be the same one that many in that age range have; it’s being self-absorbed, entitled and no understanding of others and their circumstances nor do they care, it’s all about my problems and me. Besides, it looks like she was never taught any boundaries. It’s like people who train pit bulls (they are terriers) to be vicious. It’s the trainer/owner. She’ll have to learn on her own as she matures, she’s only 22. Her owners probably won’t be teaching her if they haven’t already. 😆 I hope Maggie is doing great. 😀

Went back. It was Jocasta. Because it was Donny, she didn’t seemed surprised. Almost harped on hos Morning Protein Routine then realized I have been drinking two cups of coffee for breakfast since I was 23 and that Donny’s Pop-Tarts and crackers provide at least more than 0.
Think they had a two-second plan to backdoor (late Thursday) Caleb, but are aiming at going after Amber this week. Ho-hum. I miss all the old campaigning—seems like a Mafioso way of doing things lately with HoHs and power groups just picking off whomever without much debate. The game has changed. This will get better when they do go after Caleb and all of the good players have to go against each other. Seems like either Derrick or maybe Frankie running things and likely winner but Cody maty surprise. Christine had a weird week in my eyes and Zach is just too goofy and seems content just being on the show. Wants to make moves just for TV. Again, Robyn Kass did the Women no favors with the goofy ‘casting’ process this season. Pao, Victoria, Jocasta, Victoria and Brittany plucked from a bar weeks before, who didn’t know how to really play the game? Come come now.
16 people from applicants and just let them play. Still, enjoying this season way more than the last couple of seasons.

For all those speculating about the rumor that Nicole’s uncle passed away, it is true and I actually saw the obituary last night. Unfortunately, I have since lost it. But he lived in Ubly too and was married with kids. I think he was 53. And died like June 25th. It may be on my other puter and if so, I will post it when I find it.
However, unfortunately again, I also found out something else that was posted along with his obit on another site. I didn’t want to be tacky, so hadn’t brought it here, but for those of you who are more curious that PC, here it is.

I swear, it it wasn’t for personal dilemmas this year there would be NO drama! It’s like you can write the rest of the script in perfect pecking order of who is going when . Hmmm… Just thinking aloud here… I’m not completely bored by this season as the Detonators are my fav players but it will be more interesting when they have a real fight on thier hands. This is the first year I’ve had season pass LF’s (I got them late last year). It has been nice since after a 12h work day I can just spend an hour or so catching up on snipits of real action instead of feeling like I’m missing out. That all being said, don’t kill me for saying this, but maybe a season of all newbies would be bettter? Just throwing that out here.. Too many game savy players picking off the complete newbs.. Too many players emulating former HG’s.. Maybe we need a cast that has no clue about the game going in, no watching past seasons in sequester, and seeing the game played organically again? Also, get rid of this stupid Have Not thing.. It’s old and tired. Let’s give them some daily mini-games for luxuries beyond bread, butter and blankets. Sure, it wouldn’t all get aired on TV, but have these for the LF’s so we get some action going. As wearing on my nerves Rachel was (I can tollerate her these days) at least she was full of silly games to keep things entertaining. The problem with BBAD is no one gets up until 4-5p and the real action is happening at 3-4a. Either wake them up earlier or move BBAD to a time when stuff is going on.
It will be interesting to see the next All Star season. We should get one soon. They need to revamp the whole game structure just to keep them on thier toes. JMHO.

I am not so sure that Amber is on my 1st to go list. I’d much rather see Jo, Vic or Caleb go before her. But it’s what the Dets want so..it will prolly happen.
Jocasta was balling her eyes out on Amber a while ago and I couldn’t figure out why. I have since heard that she is saying that Brit wasn’t to be trusted, and that she STOLE all HER stories! Meaning her hard-luck life stories, I think. And was using them as hers! She doesn’t even think she was really divorced! She has totally LOST it!!!! Maybe being in the house does that to you, but I think if you weren’t mentally stable when you went in, it just gets worse! (aka Devin!) She is jsut too weird for words and I can’t WAIT for her to go..altho it seems like we’re going to have to. *sigh*

@Star – just Google Gary Franzel and his obit states he died in an automobile accident on the 15th of June. Not sure when they get called to show up for the show but since it started on the 25th I believe Nicole May have been aware of her uncle dying. Also the guy had 13 other siblings, large family indeed.

Only a short time before we are freezing again. If winter is anything like this summer we are in trouble.

And of course since brit is gone who can get the truth, I tell u some of these hgs are lower then a snakes belly, so she was up in hoh bed with Frankie sobbing. OMG woo is me Jocasta.

I am so tired of the HOH saying “They will not get any blood on their hands” Yes they are if they are the HOH. Who else is getting the blood on their hands?? I am so tired of hearing them say that!!!!! I am tired of looking at Christine and those stupid glasses, all she does is eat and lay around. Jacosta gets on my last nerve and looks like a clown with her stupid smile and dumb ties around her neck. Can her eyebrows be any bigger and quit the bible preaching. She will never win. She has no game. One of the boys are going to win. I am surprised that Jacosta is not on slop because all she does is lay around all day.
