Hi y’all:
Well, here’s a quick update as to what has happened in the house since yesterday’s post.
Donny was voted out of the house. It was a unanimous vote, as usual. Donny, the nicest and most harmless man in the house, was voted out and, of course, Christine had to gloat about how she had finally gotten the sneakiest person in the house out. Little does she suspect that everyone who watched Big Brother last night also got to see an interview with her husband, Tim.
I had mixed feelings about Tim’s interview. On the one hand, I felt so bad for him because it was obvious that, underneath all of his attempts to humor, that his heart really was breaking. If Christine and Tim are still married a year from now, I’ll be surprised. The fact that his wife is crawling all over another man has to be painful enough for Tim without it being a guy who is a thousand times better looking than he is.

That’s right! Christine and Frankie were in the lead for a while but ultimately, Caleb is the one who won. What does that mean? It means that Derrick is safe and, as long as Derrick is safe, Victoria is probably safe as well. Caleb announced his nominations earlier today and nobody was surprised when he nominated Nicole and Christine for eviction.
(Caleb has said that he might be interested in backdooring Frankie but I doubt it will happen. Unless Nicole wins the veto, she’s probably going back to the jury house and Hayden on Thursday. If Nicole does win the veto, I have a feeling that they’ll just go ahead and get rid of Christine.)
Finally, America did something right last night. Frankie and Derrick decided that America would rather see Team America put on a play than try to save Donny. Frankie did his little play and then America was asked to vote whether or not Team America deserved $5,000 for the effort.
Frankie was instructed to ask Julie if the have nots would be allowed to have apple pie during the live show.
Frankie did so.
In one of the best moments of the season, Julie replied that the Have Nots will “overwhelmingly not be allowed to have apple pie.”
Frankie looked stunned by the news. What I found interesting is that none of the other HGs caught on to how awkward Frankie’s conversation with Julie was. I mean, at first, I thought it would be obvious to anyone that Frankie and Julie were talking in code. But then I thought about how the other houseguests are and quite frankly, we don’t exactly have a smart group of people left inside the house.
Anyway, Frankie and Derrick were both pretty upset over America voting against them. When they talked about it after the HoH competition, Frankie first guessed that America may have wanted them to save Donny. But then he talked himself out of that and decided that, instead, people voted against him because they hate him because he was dressed in drag.
Because, of course, it couldn’t have had something to do with the play being stupid or anything like that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Speaking of Christine and poor Tim, have you noticed that every time Christine goes into the diary room to vote she first kisses her wedding ring? Maybe after BB is over she’ll have to kiss that ring goodbye. Just don’t like her.
I can’t believe we’ll probably have to wait another week for a big move in the house. Our only hope this week is if Nicole wins the POV. If Christine wins, she will take herself off the block, and who does that leave to replace her? Doesn’t matter, I guess. If Nic stays on the block she’ll be the one going.
I have to say the biggest thrill I got for the whole season was seeing Frankie’s face upon receiving the overwhelming news. To tell the truth, except for the bra, Frankie looked pretty much like regular Frankie when he was in drag. I don’t like wanting certain people to be put in their place and feel bad, but there it is.
Ariana has been in the news. In the new USWeekly, she answers questions and says she has 4 dogs, is vegan, and likes animals better than people. I now love her but still don’t think she can sing. Maybe growing up with Frankie as a brother is what led her to like animals better than people.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Macy, Moravian Chicken Pie is famous here in Winston-Salem because the Moravians settled here in the 1800’s. They serve it at bazaars in October and at a restaurant in Old Salem, all year long. It’s a chicken pie made with only white meat and served with chicken gravy on top! Yummy! 🙂 Whenever my family visits or I go to California, I have to make it for my family. I won’t even tell you about my Strawberry pie made with a meringue and pecan crust! 🙂 At least we’re not talking about jam! Now, what’s happening on BBAD? We don’t get it here, so we depend on y’all! 🙂 nite! Sleep well. 🙂

One thing I think was great last night, was Donny informed that a soap Opera wanted him to have a guest roll on one of their shows, and from what I understand, there is already those where he lives who have signed a petition to help him get back his position, led by the children in the schools where he lives.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------…But getting to the game now that BB now is. If Nicole wins veto, that seems the only way she is going to have a chance…unless BB pulls a twist (NOT!)
What makes me sick is they already know it’s going to be a double eviction, and even the games their expecting…So where has been the described, “Most twisted Summer ever”…Once again NOT!
I still want to see ‘Team Saboteur’ to put doubt in all the alliances.
I am so sick of Christine’s and Frankies, “I hate her”, “She’s so manipulative”, “She’s such a liar”, etc. And the fake laugh from both of them.
So, my only reason to fast forward through BBAD, is to see what Nicole and Derrick are doing. The only two I have any real interest in. And if Nicole goes, it won’t be worth wasting my time even watching BBAD, and just dvr’ing BB, so I cut an hour down to maybe 15 minutes of some entertainment value. I’m so read for ‘The Voice’.

I’m sure getting a kick out of watching these 20-something geriatrics all banged up and treating their ailments with frozen packs of peas and ace bandages. They got what they asked for and now the little sissies can’t handle it. BB broke out the play dough and face paint (alcohol too but they are going to save it for tomorrow) to aide in their recovery. The medics sure are busy little beavers this year.

Thanks LM – I am still unclear about the apple pie reference, but don’t want to belabor the point. I’ll just re-watch the show to see what didn’t penetrate my grey matter. I do remember Julie telling the viewing audience that Frankie was asked previously (prob in DR) to mention Apply pie. When he did so, and Julie responded in the emphatic way she did, a box came on the screen saying “Mission Failed!”. I’m sure a review will clear it for me.

Craig, when given the TA mission to complete they were told to ask if they could have apple pie for a favorite dish with Have Nots! ( as code) and Julie would let them know what America voted either yes or no and of course she answered with ‘Overwhelmingly Not ‘ which made Skanky drop his jaw and mouth fell wide open.

For someone like Frankie that is so lucky to have a sister that IS as talented as she is and she is and quiet young still, but for Frankie to know in his heart he has more advantages in his life already than all of the other houseguest put together times 100. So nasty and mean to the less fortunate ones. His sister could very easily top Half-Billion ($500,000.000.00) within the first 20 years of her career before she reaches Donny’s current age. I like how when Ariana and he are giving a tour of her million $ house she bought in LA that Frankie thru in ‘Our’ house when he turns around towards the cameramen! I don’t think I have ever seen so many people eat with mouths open and smacking. And Frankie gets right in your face with his wide open mouth, I just have to think every time it smells like in ‘ A million ways to die in the west’ . That movie is just too funny. You grandmaws don’t watch it, might be a little to dirty to watch! One liners constantly with about 15 big stars in it. Tears rolling down my legs funny! Almost turned it off thinking it was another old western! See how easily it is to get off topic with BB this year! They all think they are so great when it’s been just the opposite. Almost 100% unanimous voting ,all competitions were expected to a point, thrown competitions,if not thrown then like the fold one with Cody winning and not putting up Frankie when now he says he should have. Conspiracies afloat, Caleb admits to putting liquid in his mouth, now did he transport it also to the snowmans head until he got a safe lead and then stop? Because since his camera view was not shown hardly at all on feeds. Or they chose not to show them! I was wondering why they were not soaking their shirts and hair in it and wringing out but didn’t see it. Feel really sorry for Tim to have to be subjected to this Blatanly Infactuation by Crusty! I don’t blame Cody because he has already said he is doing it for a reason and I think when she watches later she will be pissed! The only thing Derrick says about Victoria is the poor girl couldn’t win a competition if she had to and she is sweet as can be. Derrick is a little more mature than the rest and had to change the way he normally acts to mingle with the Boys Club unlike Donny. Donny had a major age gap and was just not going to give up his life values for a chunk of change and I commend him for that. The World Needs More Donny’s for Sure! And everyone needs to make an attempt to sign petition to help him get his job back. Lisa Marie are you going to Blog ‘Utopia’ also ? It’s going to be a year long experiment with people forming a real life living environment with option to vote someone out and recruit someone in from outside to help build their perfect place to live and thrive. Democraticly or Communisticly, should be interesting! Also has free censored feeds with limited cameras and paid feeds with more cameras and uncensored feeds.

I think Donnie wants his old job back but possibly the offer to have a role in the Bold & The Beautiful (which he also indicated he’d like to do) might interfere with that due to timing. would like to see him have both and many other offers! Caleb I would like to leave the BB house with NO offers since he’s so convinced EVERYONE will now want him. I have to say Derrick is truly the one with his head screwed on straight and not fantasizing about stardom after this. Also can’t wait for Caleb to google the meaning of Beast Mode Cowboy. Have a feeling he will NOT want to continue being referred to that after he reads what it means! (being something like a sexual attraction to animals!) Crusty Christine I am not surprised has such a nerdy looking husband who regardless I feel sorry for. As a regular Bold and Beautiful watcher – wife has total daytime control of the remote – I’m tossing around possible story lines for Donny’s B&B soap scenes.
Will he be cast as the Abu Dhabi judge, based on all of the evidence, who finally signs an extradition order to require Ridge to appear to face charges of assault, battery and kidnapping. Makeup and wardrobe will be easy, but the accent may pose a real challenge?
Will he be one of the observant passengers on Liam’s eleven hour flight from Los Angeles to Paris who noticed the other passengers – including Quinn in lame disguise – in exclusive first class seating during his one or more trips to the lavatory?
Will he be a Spencer Publications photographer on assignment who took a selfie in Paris with Quinn shoving Ivy off the bridge into the Seine visible in the background?
Will he suggest that perpetually unemployed Deacon leave Los Angeles and apply for Donny’s old groundskeeper job in North Carolina before Quinn has no further use for him?
Will he be cast as the clever undercover LA cop who assists the Mexican Police detective discover where and when Wyatt and Quinn can be found for questioning in a MURDER investigation?
But the best part would be for Donny to be doing what he does best – grounds keeping on his monster bush hog at the bottom of the hill where Wyatt landed after being slugged by Bob Barker. Oops!

I’m so p.o.’d that Caleb put Nicole on slop for the second week! He wants her to be weak for the comps because they know she’s good!! If anyone should be on it, it should have been Frankie….he’s only been on it once!! But his highness didn’t speak up when asked “who’s only been on slop once?” Then he said after that the cold bed would have killed him!! LOL
I wonder if Caleb is giving his HOH room to the “King,”?? LOL
I think that Victoria is probably on antibiotics and some serious pain meds….I have no idea what she did to her foot!?! She better control her alcohol consumption tonight ( I heard they were saving it for tonight after POV) better yet she probably shouldn’t drink at all….she might die on us!! I think they should make a rule…no drinking if you are on meds!
I think that Christine’s “man” side looked better than her “girl” side!!LOL They better get her out soon because she’s sneaky and conniving and makes up lies about Nicole all the time because she wants the boys to like her better!! Actually, I think the BB house not only brings out the worst in the HGs, but it also shows their true colors. In other words, Crustine will cheat in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.
Why am I not surprised by Caleb’s nominations? That’s right, last night, I predicted one of nominations would be Nic, though I thought the other would be Vic. I’d bet Derrick had a hand in keeping Vic off the block. Hope Nic wins veto.
And I think TA would have won that challenge if they had saved Donny. But Frankie’s expression when he was told “overwhelmingly no” was priceless. It was the highlight of the episode. Now, I’m sure Derrick blames Frankie for the fail; it was Frankie’s idea, after all.
Hope Nic wins POV she is toast otherwise. Is there really going to be a double eviction this week? I must have missed that on the episode.

I saved an advertising company I worked for hundreds of dollars at a grand opening because I, as the hostess was drinking my “special” cranberry juice and 7-up. Everyone wanted to know what I was drinking – it looked so pretty! I told them to ask our bartender for “Jo’s Special.” The next day at work, my boss said I was going to get a bonus because I saved the company so much money! True story!! 🙂 I will be drinking my special Thursday night for the double eviction, and hopefully toasting s victory for our side! 🙂

Thanks Randall – Ok, I think I’ve got it now. The TA challenge was to do something that would impress those watching the live feeds. Frankie put together his “show” in an effort to win the challenge. The apple pie thing was a code to let him know in front of the other HGs if he succeeded or not based on a quick twitter poll of watchers, without cluing in the HG to the existence of TA. So many more straight forward ways of doing the same thing that I must have missed something else in the set-up. Oh, Well – on to more important and almost more interesting things like paying the bills 🙂

I watched the just posted interview with Donny at CBS.com ( http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/news/1003055/ )
He had an insight to why he did some of the things he did…and showed he was steps ahead of the 8 person alliance.
I’m still hoping that BIG BROTHER pulls a twist that shakes it all up. The easiest would be to make ‘America’ the ‘Saboteur’, in the same way they gave two choices for us to guide ‘Team America’.

franie p, whoa! What happened to everyone having their own opinion? We have a right to be disgusted with what is going on in the BB house. I Don’t get HBO or Showtime by choice. I haven’t watched I Love Lucy for several years! In my opinion, it is not a good thing that we are getting desensitized by all that is going on in our world. It’s true, but if no one speaks out about it, there will be no change. I think that CBS should step in and set a few rules in place. It’s ridiculous! I never did see the Vic incident on bbad but if those pigs were talking about my daughter I would be down the throats of CBS/production for allowing such vile talk. just because the world is going down hill in morality doesn’t mean we have to have an accepting attitude about it. I’d pick reruns of old shows anyday and actually i do watch them everyday. bb is mostly trash. a couple ‘doing it’ under the covers is quite different than a bunch of guys talking about taking a girls virginity and how bloody it’ll be and HEY derrick…you have a daughter you jerk. so far they all suck except for nic and i wish donnie was still there…yep, he didn’t fit in and neither would i and proud of it. as he said ‘they’ talked about things after midnight he didn’t want to have anything to do with so would go to bed. any real man or woman would have left the room during the trash talk. being silly or naughty is one thing but this is on the edge of sick. i don’t watch much tv unless it’s science fiction, victorian pieces or old shows…sometimes i watch zombie or scary shows online. i hope the parents hear every word and have their input. i guess as of now i’d pick cody but with gloves, a mask and a smack on the head. these are trashy KIDS.

For that reason i have abandoned all TV shows except Christian, cable news and some of the real housewives (a girl has to have some glamour in her life)….Survivor and BB. I know it’s impossible to prevent any houseguest from saying things that are repugnant. Apparently, CBS doesn’t feel the need to, at the very least, reprimand a houseguest on camera who has made a foul statement. Frankie was my favorite the first 2 days of this season. After that he got to be hard to take until this “rape” episode. What he says in his private life, no matter how disgusting, is his business, but if he’s on camera, CBS needs to implement some kind of moral censorship and let him know what he said was inappropriate

Frankie has gone beyond vulgar and disgusting and has suggested actual sexual assault of a young, female, virgin in the household. The only appropriate channels to deal with this behavior is to complain directly to CBS – not to hope they read this blog or take TMZ seriously. There is a place on the CBS.com website to comment and express opinions. Many of us used it last season as the racist remarks were considered simply vile.
It would allow CBS to understand that they are doing a very poor job of psychological screening and perhaps sanctions should be put into place for threats made to houseguests.

I got to thinking about Derrick. As others have mentioned, with his job training, he really should have nipped the rape conversation right at the bud, he knows better than that. He also is aware of the fan reaction and outrage from last year. He is also aware that he is looked up to, that he is a role model, inside and outside the house.
He told the house guests that he quit his job to do the show, I dont know if that is true or if he just took a leave of absence. I finally got so disgusted with his inappropriate fondling of someone (can’t remember who, but I think it was Caleb) I actually got a little ill and had to tune away. Today, I composed a comment in my mind to add to this blog. When I actually logged in and read what was going on, I scrapped that script as being way too tame. I now hate Frank and anyone who let this creep put his hands, and other body parts on them. The only way I could see his victims (that’s what they are) allowing this is to prevent alienating him – and his vote. Come on HGs, where are your standards? I can’t remember who it was that made racial comments, and when she got evicted from the house was confronted by Julie Chen…but the same has to be done by Frankie.

I hope they stick to the plan of backdooring Frankie. I’ve been over this guy for weeks and he just keeping worst. If the reports of his sister showing up to photo shoots late and being a diva are true then it just goes to show they were raised that way; raised to think they are entitled to anything they want and that they don’t have to follow the rules of society or answer to anybody. That Frankie is now talking about having a “name to uphold” is laughable. He should have thought of that before even entering the house.
I’m over Derrick, too. I have admired his game though it probably wouldn’t be too hard for anybody to manipulate this group of fruit loops; put Derrick in a house with Dr. Will, ED and others and he’d be playing a much different game probably with little result, too.

I found a FB posting about Derrick, apparently, he is another of the country’s legion of killer cops. In 2007 Derrick and his partner gunned down a man who had called 911 for help. They were cleared of wrong doing by a grand jury, which means absolutely nothing–all cops are cleared of wrong doing when they kill somebody. I am looking for more on this story.

As of the last few posts in Jokers, Caleb has gone to Frankie and disclosed that he was thinking of back-do prong him. They have now both vowed that they are each other’s greatest allies. Somehow, I see the hand of production in all this. The overwhelming dislike of Frankie must be boosting ratings for CBS. It was discussed earlier in the season that Frankie was clearly Grodner’s pet this year. Now Frankie’s extraordinary paranoia will be unbearable – but the opportunity will have been lost. The Veto ceremony should take place later today and except for a miracle Nicole will be going home.
I did laugh when I read Frankie’s comments about his good name. Far too late. Sadly, Caleb actually believes America will hate him if he “gets Frankie out.” Again, I see productions suggestive questions and comments in that pitiful idea.

As for my post about Derrick, I called him a killer cop because that is what the article had said. Another article stated that it is rare for Rhode Island cops who go for the quick shot and kill a suspect are ever charged, a list of incidents for the past decade showed that all were cleared–I have to wonder why. The guy they shot had a knife, he was also the person who called them for help. Perhaps there was something that could have been done to disarm the man, find out the problem was before Derrick and his partner went for their own weapons. I really don’t care what the back story to that incident was, there is an epidemic in this country of police brutality, especially among the African-American community and it has to stop. I’ve seen it first hand when I was a member of the Occupy movement.
Caleb is stupid if he thinks America will hate him for putting up Frankie. America already dislikes him and getting Frankie out of the house may just up his likability factor. If Frankie and Caleb are really going to work together, their top target has to be Derrick.

Just gave CBS a piece of my mind (see below) and OF COURSE stupid Caleb had to open his mouth to Frankie giving him the chance to redeem himself and so now it’s all reversed. Well I think PRODUCTION should be the one to evict Frankie and embarrass him as he’s continued to embarrass himself. He doesn’t even deserve a normal eviction and a chat with Julie in front of his imagined fans. I would like to see as many viewers as possible sign a petition to have him kicked out of the house on his pathetic a__.

Franke Grande needs to be evicted from the BB House and NOT by the other houseguests but by production for his obnoxious outrageous, crude, rude and unacceptable comments, gesturing and behavior. If it’s not done that CBS apparently has no respect for it’s audience. We are sick of him! and sickened BY him & starting to wonder if CBS has some kind of side deal with this lunatic? If you want to have a Frankie Grandie show please do it on another show & not ruin BB for it’s loyal fans. Last year we endured Amanda Zuckerman and now this. who is picking these people? maybe they need to be replaced! Lately it seems like the show is designed so that the creepy people always win in the end, Did you happen to notice who America LOVES? Nichole and Donnie. That should be a hint when choosing future contestants. I realize you like to have a villain or 2 to liven things up but Frankie Grande is just disgusting & NOT entertaining – just annoying and disgusting.

When is the veto ceremony?? I want Frankie to be backdoored sooo bad!! What happened today?,,,because as of last night that was the plan! I’m confused!! Well, apparently Frankie did talk everyone’s ears off last night. He was up talking to Caleb on the LFS and you could tell he KNEW what they were planning. He kept trying to catch Caleb up, sayin ghow he would never put him up etc and Caleb was being wiley and sid he trusted him as a FRIEND and would be friends AFTER the game. Frankie’s not dumb!! SO he knew what was up. But HOW exactly he changed their minds, I don’t know!
Nic got called into the DR and they asked how she felt and she said..It’s just so predictable!!
And it’s been 6-1 all season and it hasn’t changed! the problem with this season is, you can’t change anyone’s mind!
She is telling Vic to hang on to that wall for dear life this week. And she told her NOT to put Caleb up, but Chris and Cody. Not sure why unless it’s to ensure that Chris goes home! You’d think she’d be mad at Caleb and I thought she and Cody were close. Go figure.
I am , like the rest of BB Fandom, SO PO’ed that they are kicking Nic out and buying Frankie’s SH*T!!! Nic is playing ALOT better/smarter/stronger game than Jordan ever did and SHE won!!! And don’t tell me Production doesn’t have a hand in EVERYTHING that goes down in this house! I was wondering the other day if it was almost the end of BB’s shelf life. We complain every year. No matter who they cast or what twists they try. We don’t like the double HOH, we don’t like the HGS, we don’t want Vets…..we actualy are pretty hard to please! But I think it’s because, after 16 seaons, there are no more surprises!! And the HGs have had all those seasons to really study the past HGS. That wasn’t so early on. So now it all seems alot more contrived. I love BB, but if it continues on like this, I would rather see it go than keep watching it die a little more every years. Not to mention wasting my summers!!!lol

SO..they let them get the house in a fever to keep the LFers attention, but then before the POV, they tell them, to back off and stick to the script!!! BB has NO surprises or thrills anymore!!! I’d like to thank CBS, Grodner, casting, production, and the current HGs for giving me back a few weeks of summer without any BB obsession. Where I once would spend hours reading, watching, dissecting and posting about every little nuance made in the house I am now catching up with old friends, cleaning out the house, getting organized for the school year and enjoying time with my family. Why right now we are enjoying the last day at the pool complete with a 1989 soundtrack in the background. So awesome!!
I do miss serious debates over game moves and motives, but is nice to have my summer freedom back.

Star, I think production calls them into the DR and “suggests” and “implies” what America wants or likes or not. The HGs surmise what they are supposed to surmise and down the yellow brick road they go. Yes, I do believe it’s contrived and they lead the HGs without actually telling them what they want. Of course, with this crew I could tell them that America is loving how you look when you shampoo your hair and that idiot would be in the shower all day. Sad state of affairs.

kimj.., like you I too would read everything, watch everything and spend every minute as a BB minute. Not this year. Don’t watch anything but the show and don’t read any other blog. I’m posting a lot less too. I couldn’t agree more that we don’t have the “serious debates over game moves and motives” anymore plus I miss the forecasting we all ussed to do to see who was right. What’s the point, it’s all so predictable now.

I was really teasing about Lisa Marie … this is a holiday weekend and a lot of people spend it with family and friends. That leaves us die hard BB fanatics to keep things rolling along! I am very eager to see Lisa’s thoughts on BB activity for the last couple of days. If it were not for this blog, I would have given up on BB a long time ago. Blog on – I really enjoy everybody’s opinion. The good, the bad and the ugly!! 🙂

And he is being his gross crude self again right now on the live feeds. cutting into everybody’s stories with his own “one up” story. said how on halloween he likes to be naked and then talking about something they do in the bathroom at gay bars which Christine just blurted out. the conversations are neverendingly disgusting when Scankie is in the room and you can tell whenever they’re focused on someone else that he’s just waiting for his moment to jump in and grab the spotlight. And now theyre at it again talking about gay sex in a public bathroom. Apparently CBS has no limit to what they can say whatsoever and don’t care if we’re offended by it.

I definitely agree with your prospective regarding Frankie’s behavior. In fact, I’m disappointed the TMZ vote isn’t a higher percentage than high 60s. Frankie is one of the most revolting, repulsive, obscene people who have ever been on BB and from Jeanne 4488 is saying above, he’s not stopping and probably getting worse. Can’t stand the cockroach.

I have reached my saturation point of watching and reading the freak show that BB has become. I’m so done I can’t even tell ya’ll how discussed I am. This is my first year of reading jokers and 2nd of watching BBAD. Last year I lurked here but never commented. All the extras enriched the experience but now it’s just too XXX rated for me. I will return to the sanitized network airings and be happier for it. Once the devil incarnate leaves I may return. Bye ya’ll and God bless.

Lordy, this house is a mess. I’m glad I stopped watching after Amber got voted out and was only watching the Thursday show with the first double eviction, now I just read about it here. There’s always hope for next year.

Starfish, Jeanne 4488 and Junksies, I couldn’t agree with you more. It has been so nice getting to know all of you. There are so many wonderful people here this year (You too Bob). I am sorry too that you lost one of your friends. I am an optimist,so I am trusting something will happen Thursday night to turn this pathetic show into one that we can be excited about instead of just watching it because we have never missed a show! NOOO!! To Victoria being on the block. What is wrong with Caleb?
Not only does Frankie need to be expelled from the BB house, Grodner needs to go. The show has been steadily going down hill since she took the reigns. That woman has a serious screw loose if she thinks her ideas of “twists” are at all entertaining. Having double HOHs did nothing to enhance the game and TA was just a flop. I believe she not only condones the poor behavior we are seeing this week, but encourages it for ratings.
I’m so fed with BB this year that I am thinking of boycotting CBS and their affiliates. I’ve already cancelled my subscription to Showtime. And even though I now have TVGN (got the next package up on my satellite) I haven’t watched it and won’t. Too bad, too because the other day Rescue Dawn was on, with Christian Bale and I wanted to see that movie again. It’s a based-on-a-true Vietnam era story about a fighter pilot who is shot down and taken prisoner in Laos; he gained his freedom by escaping.
Last summer, there was a rumor that Grodner was leaving BB; I was saddened when she returned for this season but hope she doesn’t come back next summer. Grodner and her production embody everything that is wrong with BB. She loves this negative publicity. If not for the stories in TMZ and elsewhere about the vile, despicable behavior of the HGs there would be no publicity at all. Never mind that fans would be happier with a game that included mature, stable individuals who were laser focused on winning the game.
I hated ED his season, thought his behavior toward that one female contestant crossed the line. Still, I was supportive when he won. That the other HGs were dumb enough to not see through his machinations and manipulations was enough to show that he deserved it. In contrast to ED, the last 2 seasons have gone downhill. This season, there simply is nobody, except maybe Derrick, to root for. While some of them had started out playing a pretty decent game, they’ve mostly become vile, unacceptable little cretins.
In my email to CBS, I told them of my disgust of Frankie’s comment concerning Victoria; of my intention to turn off all CBS programming (if enough people do that then CBS would be forced to listen to us). I also asked them at what point does hate speech constitute eviction from the game. A physical assault will get somebody thrown out, but the attempted incitement for others to commit sexual assault (jokingly or not) does not warrant even a verbal chastisement? By keeping silent on that issue, CBS is condoning the verbal abuse once again.
