Well, eviction night is quickly approaching so I’m going to go ahead and open up the diary room. Who do you vote to evict?
Do you vote for…
Cody, the nice guy who is hot no matter what he’s wearing (except, of course, when he’s got Christine wrapped around him)
or
Zach, the unemployed jerk who, at the very least, is willing to admit that he’s an unemployed jerk?
You can cast your vote over on the right side of this page or in the comments section below!
And, after you’ve decided between Zach and Cody, ask yourself if tonight’s eviction is really going to matter. As we all know, the evicted houseguest is going to have a chance to reenter the house as soon as he leaves it. He will be competing for that chance with Jocasta, Hayden, and Nicole.
Whichever one of them reenters the house will be safe for at least a week. In theory, that should give them a chance to stir up some trouble. Or it might just give Derrick a week to tell them what to do.
So, who do you want to reenter the house? And do you think it will make any difference to the overall game?
Myself, I voted to evict Zach. I’m kind of over Zach and, quite frankly, I’d rather spend the rest of August and September looking at Cody. As far as the returning juror, I really do hope that Nicole reenters the house. In a perfect, Lisa-scripted world, Zach would be evicted, Nicole would reenter the house, and Victoria would win HoH. (Yeah, why not? It would totally freak everyone out if Victoria was suddenly in power and it might be fun to watch.) Nicole, Victoria, and Donny would form a final three alliance. Frankie, Christine, and Caleb would be evicted, one after the other. The final battle for house supremacy would come down to Cody and Derrick vs. Nicole, Victoria, and Donny.
Okay, it probably won’t happen.
But a girl can dream, can’t she?

I vote to evict Cody. Even though Zach is over the top, I think he’s a nice guy under his loud exterior. Cody has done nothing but obey what Derrick dictates to him. Even Caleb has stepped up to the plate more than Cody. I would like to see Zach stay, Nicole re-enter the house and team up with Zach and Donny. I don’t see Victoria leaving Derrick’s side. I think Christine may be able to be swayed but they can’t keep her. It’s long overdue for Derrick to go on the block too,

Zack was VERY annoying to me for most of the season, but honestly…I think he’s a half way decent kid who has a hard time controlling his emotions. I can relate. Team America used him to make money and they know he can actually win comps so they masterfully help fan the flames of him being a saboteur. Granted, Zack never really did himself any favors, but at least he’s got that “wild card” tag to him.
I’m realistic so I know this won’t happen but I vote to evict Cody and hope Hayden comes back in. Then Donny, Hayden, and Zack can make a strong alliance. Unless some complete craziness happens before the live show, Zack is a goner. When that happens, I hope either Zack or Hayden returns. For some reason, I think its gonna be an endurance comp, and that might work in Nicole’s favor. Gonna be a fun night, unless the unthinkable happens and Jocasta somehow pulls off a victory. Wouldn’t that be crazy????

Thanks again LM for the Early Edition. You are better than my newspaper boy at getting me something to read in the early morning hours. But I see you have Googled Cody’s name and followed his underwear and nudies online to want to keep him. Either way they both, Cody or Zach have dislikes but for game play and thinking I too would have to evict Zach because he is closer to Frankie than Cody. I mean Zach is so far up Frankie’s butt that I believe Zach is the one brushing Frankie’s teeth 3 times a day! Plus I believe The Jury 3 would have easier time against Upset Zach than a surprised Cody but you never know. KeVinInDenver you must have got a paper cut, herpes for everyone? In my opinion once America’s Team fails, that’s it, they don’t get to continue to pick and chose . From watching Christine’s Hubby, Tim play and sing on You Tube, he’s not half bad and plays electric guitar which I love his very well. He too wears the same huge big rim glasses that his wifey wears and weighs all of 120lbs. Very thin and Christine definitely wears the pants in that family. Donnie is pissed and Hurt but needs a little help but it’s getting down to where everyone will be picked to play for veto and not left out of chance to save yourself like Zach was this week. Torn between Nicole( smarts/knows prior games) & Hayden (physical,somewhat knows games) to come back. Even though whoever comes back is safe for the first week and cant be voted out, I think they still can play for HOH but not sure I would want to try to win one that I was guaranteed to be safe and just concentrate on the next week, % is better the next week if that is the scenario. Something I would like to say to CBS and to others on this blog is that after the contestants enter the house and have no news contact with the outside that CBS would release to it’s fans a breakdown of what HOH CONTESTS ARE SCHEDULED FOR EACH DATE AND WHAT BOTB CONTEST AND WHAT POV CONTEST FOR EACH DATE , so we know there is transparency in the way contest are held and are not suited for one contestant to win over another. We could use that info and project out a week or so and get more involved into the game rather than speculating and thinking contest were set for one person to have an advantage. 131/2hours and counting!

I hate to read derogatory comments about what is discussed on this blog, especially when it concerns Jolee and Jeanne. They have big hearts and if I lived near them I would love to be one of their friends/sisters. I vote to evict Cody his game has been to hang on the girls (mostly a married Christine)

Victoria winning HOH would be pointless because she has already said she will do what Derrick tells her too. So just another week of him not being HOH but running the house like one.

When they did the Skittles draw, did Derrick have a color in the bag? It didn’t show that during the show. It just appears that he’s not included somehow but yet, he convinces them whatever is going on is their idea and not his.
Donny knows what’s going on but doesn’t have a clue what to do about it or he doesn’t have the heart so he really shouldn’t be in this game. You can’t have a heart. So sad. Imagine if everyone was like Donny, there would be no game at all.

He is a floater who has really done nothing all year. When he finally got nominated, he was totally appalled. Now that was the only entertaining thing he has done as far as I’m concerned. I would like to see Nichole come back because she at least tried to shake things up and got stabbed in the back. But I doubt she would have a chance to stay. Hayden might be able to schmooze his way in but I guess we will see what exactly happens. Zach drives me nuts sometimes but at least you know he’s there.

Just looking on facebook and Big Brother Spoilers posted a sketch of the comp for the 4 jury members will be competing in. Looks like the 4 will square off against each other in what looks like some shuffle board type comp, the winner gets back in. Then I’m assuming they will go straight to compete in the HOH. I saw someone saying they thought the returning HG would be safe for a week, but I don’t recall hearing that anywhere but on this blog. Can anyone confirm that? Check it out.

I think the reason we couldn’t send friend requests on F/B is because we “met” outside of F/B. Not sure what others want, but I’m tired of this ‘Team America’, when it’s not really a team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Both Derrick and Frankie have thrown Donny under the bus plenty of times…and I think it’s time to put another spin on this. Why not put a secret alliance, within a secret alliance in ‘Team America’?

I also think a special game should be given, for the HOH to decide 3 people, not including him/her, that if completed by the 3, get a secret reward no one knows until the reveal…or the HOH gets instead at the reveal. It could be a good thing, or bad thing, the choice of voters.
I would also like for the plant of the ‘Saboteur’ to continue. Simply using glow in the dark tape, spray, to leave a simple message, “Wrong!” or “Better luck next time!” or “HA! HA!”. It’s time to really split some of these guys up. Maybe even secret cameras set up to expose a secret, where they’re all in the living room, and the monitor turns on to share something interesting…or upsetting.
Maybe America could be the ‘Saboteur’ giving us two choices, and sending a masked person in a burglar outfit, and make it so the lights can’t be turned on while he strikes for us.

Dianna — This year, Nicole can be nominated. Judd was safe for a week last year because, since they combined both the HoH and the comp to see who got to returned, Judd didn’t have a chance to compete for HoH. Thanks Lisa for letting us know about Nic playing for HOH and your comment about off topics posts. It’s really not about off topic stuff – off topic is fine and we have fun with some things like our pets but, and I say this with all due respect, it’s about when someone takes a nap or has coffee or what they had for lunch, over and over and over the same stuff every day – I’m going to bed now or I just woke up and yippee lots of posts to read, etc, etc. etc.- that’s what’s irritating. We hear it once and that’s cute but repeatedly, it’s irritating. Yes, go to a chat room or do emails with those you want to stay in touch with regarding day to day activities. I’m sure you don’t want to hear every single day that I went to the gym and how my husband made me coffee after we walked our dog and how blessed I am to have him and I had a hot fudge sundae tonight. All that’s true, but it doesn’t belong on a blog. Chat room and emails, of course. Again, I said the above with all due respect and hope it’s taken that way.
I stopped getting the comments and I just pop in to look over the blogs because there are just so many clogging my email especially today would have been terrible. It’s not about how many posts anymore either is it? Before we did it so BBBlogger could keep the blog up and we do have some pride in that. It was just a personal thing between a few of us to get to certain numbers, it means squat today though. There are plenty of bloggers here.

zack…he just graduated from college and is smart not to have a job…did you hear Donny, Christine, Derrick and others talking on bbad a few nites ago about what they had to give up on their jobs to be on BB16? Donny can be rehired if there is an opening in his district…even Christine lost Starbucks seniority,title and I think stock…so now smart of Zack to wait til after to job hunt.

Interesting insight PatRose. Thank you. Zach is a loose cannon but perhaps he does have some smarts. I wonder if this will hurt him in his job hunt. 🙂 I couldn’t have afforded to quit my job for 3 months raising two children alone. I don’t know how Britney did it without help even though she was only gone a short while. 😉

It looks like both Donny and Nicole are gonna be put up. The BEST MOVE, if it stays like this, because it’s obvious ‘Team America’ isn’t looking out for one another…unless a hiccup comes, like a message saying if ANY of Team America goes home, it is no longer a part, and the money stops.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I also don’t think it’s fair that Nicole doesn’t get a one time pass from nominations, something Julie pitches live next Thursday, to get people scrambling.
So far, “Expect the unexpected”…is pretty expect-able, in my opinion.
For me, if Donny goes home, I could care less about watching it anymore, with the stranglehold the house has had from almost the very beginning.
This is gonna either be the most BORING episode/week…or one that makes all of them put thinking caps on.
I still think throwing an ‘America’s Saboteur’, from an outside source, no one from the house, through a figure, almost burglar, that posts thing glow in the dark, moves things around, locks doors, short-sheets beds, maybe leaves mints on the pillows, with a black rose and a note, ‘Love, The Saboteur.’
Please Big Brother Bosses! Do something to spice things up, and equal the playing field. I’m getting tired of them knowing what is coming, almost a week before we hear the words, “Expect the unexpected.” They have, they did and it’s getting old pretty quick.
But if nothing does spice this up, I’m sure I can find something else more entertaining to watch…and I bet a lot more here feel the same way.

Dianna, you hit the nail on the head – we are definitely “watching paint dry” this year.
I’m so sorry Nic and Donny just couldn’t get their game together. Like I said before Donny knew what was going on but didn’t have a clue how to actually play. Nic got busy but that Detonator bunch, stuck together and that did it for everyone else. We can just hope that it will get exciting when they start eating their own. Maybe they’ll decide with skittles who goes next and then we will have wasted an entire summer. No, the fun should begin soon but we keep saying that don’t we?

I just read Derrick conversation with Donnie,and it was so condescending ,and all BS…..also the way the other house guest talk about Donnie,about what they want to do or say to him borders on cruelty ,and not game play,..I find it disturbing and not a bit entertaining….

@ Ralph – I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with everything you said. I’m so disgusted with the whole season !! Even with TA, the Flaming Frankenstein & Manipulator Derrick have NEVER included Donny in on ANY of their scheming, they decide what they want to do, THEN tell Donny. It’s dispicable, they have NEVER had Donny’s back !! How could Donny do anything else when ALL the cards are/were against him ? I personally can relate to being a nice person like Donny my whole life, the really nice people ALWAYS get the shaft, but one thing is for sure, we stay TRUE to who we are. (Not a phony, liar, or fake, only being ourselves).

Ok, One more off topic camment.
at the bottom of your comments, just above the SUBMIT button is a check box
that says “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail.” Do not check this as you email will be flooded with emails form every single comment on the posts.
Beneath the Submit button is another check box saying “Notify me of new posts by email.” This will send an email every time LM puts up a new post. There is a distinct difference between posts and comments. I chose to use neither. Instead, I point my browser to http://www.big-brother-blog.com/big-brother-16/ which I have saved as a favorite. Here you can get to any older posts and see if LM has put up a new one. You can also sign up for notifications of new posts (NOT comments) at the top of the page just below the HG pictures.

So by now we know that both Donny and Nicole have been put up. I think, by now everyone also knows that IF Donny goes home, Big Brother is gonna lose a lot of those watching.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I also think that ‘Team America’, which it seems only Donny really protected his team members, has run its course, and either there will be a ‘switch’ that has the other two members saving him…or coming clean, which I think Donny should do to expose the huge threat that Derrick really is, and Frankie is really only there for the publicity.
I think we should all contact Big Brother ( http://audienceservices.cbs.com/feedback/feedback.htm ) to bring real tension and shock. Maybe a ‘bribe’. Tell them that one of them can go home tonight, with 10,000, if they quit…over an eviction this week. Donny, being on the block, could become ‘Team Saboteur’ this week. To throw a wrench. Have him write, with glow in the dark spray-paint, something about the ‘Saboteur is still here!’
Tell the something like, “You’ll never guess it was me!Ha ha he he!”
Also, on Big Brother After Dark on TVGN, when that is airing, bring something only those viewers will see. Once again, the unexpected.
Have an alarm go off, for a few days, to help the Saboteur plant seeds and suspicion.
If I really think about it, Big Brother is getting pretty stale in substance, shock and “The unexpected”.
