Hi, everyone!
Well, things are finally getting a little bit interesting in the house. That doesn’t mean that the unexpected is going to happen but, at the very least, there’s a possibility of the house not slavishly following Frankie’s plan. For perhaps the first time this season, there’s actually some suspense over who is going to go home!
Well, maybe…
To be honest, it’s just as likely that we’re going to end up with another unanimous eviction. And, regardless of who goes home, it’s going to be another woman leaving the house. Consider this: There are only five women left in the house and, over the course of this week, every single one of them has been nominated for eviction.
So, here’s what happened.
At the eviction ceremony, Hayden used his veto and he took Victoria off the block. Frankie nominated Amber in her place. Zach, once again, proceeded to give a totally over-the-top speech where he claimed that Amber could not be trusted, that she had been manipulating Caleb and that she did not appreciate everything that Caleb had done for her.
(Like, for instance, throwing a pillow at her. That’s how this day started for Amber. Caleb, after spending an hour talking to Cody about all the cruel pranks that he could play on Amber, threw a pillow at her. And yes, I know that a lot of people will say, “It was just a pillow!” but they’re missing the point. It was an aggressive act and the fact that Caleb got away with it just goes to show that certain HGs can get away with stuff that other HGs can’t. Evel Dick, for instance, was allowed to pour a drink on Jen’s head and call her some truly loathsome names. Caleb is allowed to throw pillows and basically be a stalker. If you’re good for ratings, it’s allowed.)
By attacking Amber, Zach helped Team America win some cash but he also went totally overboard. People felt sorry for Amber and, even more importantly, people now have a new reason to dislike Zach. I’m not prepared to say that the house is on the verge of rebelling against Zankie this week but still, Zach has done nothing to help him in the future of this game. Cody and Christine, in particular, seems to feel that Zach went too far.
Amber, meanwhile, apparently believed that Zach would be the replacement nominee. When she confronted Frankie about it, Frankie lied and said that Hayden had taken him by surprise. Frankie also said that Amber was not the target and that she was only nominated because Frankie knew that the house would vote to keep her over Jocasta. Amber, needless to say, did not believe a word of it.
The thing with Amber is that she’s not stupid and, unlike Brittany, she actually has a social game. She has been campaigning to stay ever since the veto ceremony and she’s actually been making some very valid points. Instead of insisting that she personally deserves to be in the house more than everyone else, she has been talking game. And some of the HGs — like Christine — seemed to really be responding to her arguments
Will she stay? Well, right now, she has one definite supporter and that is Caleb. At first, Caleb was happy to see Amber nominated. He apparently believed that 1) she was not the target and 2) she was only being nominated to teach her a lesson about the importance of keeping secrets. (By continually telling him that Amber was using him and not showing him proper appreciation, Derrick, Frankie, and Zach actually managed to manipulate Caleb into suggesting that they should nominate Amber.) However, Caleb then discovered that Amber actually was the target and that Zach had told some lies about Amber plotting to get every guy out of the house.
No doubt seeing a chance to be a hero (and win Amber away from Cody), Caleb has now declared himself to be Team Amber. He has talked to the other houseguests and he claims that the majority of them have said that they want to keep Amber. (Now, whether or not they’re telling him the truth is another issue all together.) Caleb just had a meeting with Zach and Frankie in which he told them that nobody believes anything that Zach said about Amber and that Jocasta is planning on coming after Zach next week.
And, amazingly enough, it looks like Zach and Frankie may have changed their minds. After Caleb spoke to them, they both agreed that maybe it would be a good idea to get rid of Jocasta this week.
Now, this could all change. Frankie and Zach could have just been thinking out loud. Right now, Zach’s plan is to talk to Jocasta about what she’s thinking about doing if she’s still in the house after Thursday. Sobbing Jocasta, for her part, has been laying in bed and talking about how she doesn’t feel well.
Don’t get me wrong. I have a feeling that, when all is said and done, Zach and Frankie will decided to keep things simple and stick with their original plan. And, if the rest of the HGs find out that Amber is probably going home, then most of them will probably go ahead, vote with the majority, and it will be another unanimous eviction.
But, as of right now, there’s at least a chance that something unexpected might happen!

Lisa, great summary. I hope they vote out Jocasta. Caleb is a dweeb and as so many have said, he’s tanked Amber’s game and his own for that matter. Zankie, could be quite a number but we’ll see on that.
I loved the final Bachelorette. I knew in the beginning when Chris said that the one she did not choose tried to contact her a couple of times and she refused — it had to be Nick. There’s no way Josh would have done that and Nick is the obsessive one for sure. He’s such an intense, brooding, babbling goon. IMO. Can you imagine living with him and disecting every little thing and examining every conversation. God, what a drain it was just watching him all season. I liked Josh, he’s funny and romantic and serious. I think they’ll do great. There’s never any way to predict how anything will last but I always have hope. Good luck to them.

Kathy, you took the words right out of my mouth !!! I was going to say, “Is there ANYONE else as sick & tired of hearing Caleb say, (but) At the end of the day,” every other sentence !!!! I really liked Caleb in the beginning, however, I think they should send Caleb packing this week rather than Amber !! So ready for Zach, Jacosta, Victoria, & Christine to go as well !!
Starfish, I TOTALLY agree with everything you said about Nick. I’m not that crazy about Andi & hoped she’d pick Josh from Day 1. Just makes sense since they live 5 minutes away from each other. Now, they’ll have the opportunity to have normal dates & get to really know each other. What a POS Nick is to deal Andi such a low blow !! I don’t blame her for not talking to him prior to the show as she probably figured he’d throw that up in her face ! I think he did it for another “15 minutes of fame.” I’m sure it will be on ET & other entertainment News shows. He’s so pathetic ! I never liked him & all the guys were right about him. Considering Josh didn’t like Nick, hopefully, he will just “consider the source” & not hold it against Andi. 🙂

I’m watching the finale of the Bachelorette right now, even though I already know everything that happened. (Fortunately, since I can’t stand either Andi or her two men, I really don’t mind the spoilers.) Every time that Andi smiles, I worry that her face is about to fall off from the strain. Nick has an amazingly dull voice and oh my God, he is so needy! So, I understand why Andi picked Josh but their relationship isn’t going to last. Myself, I’m just glad that this season is over. I’m looking forward to Bachelor In Paradise, it looks like it’ll be fun. (I used to like Bachelor Pad, too.)

Checking in on the house. It looks like Frankie and Zach spent about an hour thinking about sending Jocasta home instead of Amber. However, they’re now back to the original plan — taking out Amber. They’re going to let both Amber and Caleb think that Jocasta is the target but ultimately, they’re still planning to vote out Amber.
So, in other words, it looks like it’s going to be another predictable eviction. Believe it or not, I now find myself hoping that, if Amber is voted out, Caleb will end up winning HoH. It would definitely shake up the house.

The bachelor in paradise might have some good drama for sure. Sorry, I didn’t care for Josh or Andi, it would be very hard to please Andi. and the part when she got engaged i thought was overkill, they were going on and on. this was one of the worst seasons, I stopped watching and never did that. I thought it was amusing though how nick let it be known that he and Andi had sex. and asked her why they made love, if she wasn’t into him. Funny, awkward moment. I just wonder who was the most Trampy Bachelorette? I’m sure their were many.

It’s cracking me up because Andi is such a bad actress and she and Josh have like absolutely no romantic chemistry. As for the most trampy bachelorette — I’m voting for Deanna Pappas. Though I think they most annoying bachelorette was Ashley Herbert, I got tired of her going on and on about how insecure she felt. Emily Maynard was definitely the most fake.

Did they say who the next Bachelor would be? If it’s Nick I would be Shaking My Head, he just might end it all if things don’t go right 🙄 It seems the proposal was way over the top, they just went on and on. Deanna pappas as most Trampy, yep she’s a contender. I would imagine most probably were. I can only imagine The Bachelors probably even worse. At least one of the more boring seasons had a somewhat entertaining ending.

Aggie R, no they didn’t say who the next Bachelor would be. Chris Harrison said it would be announced at a later date. Hopefully it will be Farmer Chris and not Nutty Nick. As someone said earlier, as soon as Chris Harrison said that the one not chosen had basically stalked Andi, I knew she had chosen Josh. Farmer Chris was my fav from Night One but I knew she would never choose him.
If the HG’s are smart, they will evict Amber. She is a triple threat: social, game savvy and a physical competitor.

Looking forward to watching Caleb freak out when/if Amber is voted out. He’s a cannon just waiting to be lit and that might do it. I still hope they vote out Jacosta, she’s just plain the most annoying one IMO. Vic is a close second tho. 🙂
As for Andi being fake, I don’t agree that any one of us wouldn’t be fake in that situation. ( Nope, most of us wouldn’t be in that situation) How does one portray normalcy with cameras on you 24/7? Remember they edit a lot! As for Nick, he’s a mama’s boy I believe on top of his weird self. None of the guys liked him either. Such a conceited jerk. We all knew she went to bed with Nick and he just displayed what a truely insescure jerk he is. I don’t think there’s anything for Josh to forgive. Andy didn’t go to bed with Juan Pablo, she faked falling asleep so I wouldn’t classify her as a tramp by any stretch of the imagination. There have been a couple but so what? They are there for a reason and that’s a big one. No pun intended. LOL 😀

I wouldn’t have met with him either and just because she had sex with him doesn’t mean he’s entitled to be a jackass to her on TV. JMHO Nearly every bachelorette has sex with the final two or we are made to believe that. As for Eric, they both were snippy and he was rude first so I don’t understand what was wrong with that.

Like I said when she was claiming sick before, she said she was going to throw up but I never heard anything but coughing. MM, are the houseguests getting tired of her being sick every time she is on the block? I am. LOL
I guess I’m glad I don’t watch the Bachelor or Bachelorette. But I have to say it’s interesting to hear you guys talk about them. I see the news stories and see what is said on Entertainment Tonight and get a little insight.

I would love to see Jocasta hit the bricks. I was thinking about it while reading all your comments. I’ve come to the conclusion that the rubber duck that floats in the pool/hot tub to help keep it clean (I think they call it Shades)…..THAT DUCK is far more deserving to stay in the house than Jocasta. Hell, at least that duck does SOMETHING!
I never had anything against Amber. I wonder of the house guests feel bad for her having to deal with Caleb all the time? I’m assuming they do. He really did blow up her game. That said, I really don’t think there’s anyway she can save herself. From watching BB over all the years, it seems like in the latter seasons they RARELY switch things up mid week and vote out a different person than the original target (POV wins excluded). As a viewer, it sucks. It was fun watching the Pawn get blindsided sitting next to Evel Dick or some other “bad guy/gal” player, wondering WTF just happened. I miss that big time!
My only hope is like what most of you said….if Amber goes and Caleb pops a bolt. The only way I think he could actually win the next HOH is if its something physical like carrying big rocks across the yard. He can “beast mode’ all day on that, using his anger to get him in the HOH room. Think of the HULK but less green and more creepy/stalkerish.
I have a feeling its gonna be some counting thing or a mental deal….perhaps even a “hang on to the wall for as long as you can” thing. If its endurance, he’s toast. If its mental….well, lets just say he better hope for carrying rocks across the yard.
I just don’t think there will ever be a true blind side again, which sucks. They all talk before the live show and as the others are voting. They basically know what’s going down before it happens. But man….I REALLY REALLY want to see one happen again.
I think it may be too little too late for the girls of BB16. By some miracle of a chance Victoria wins (I know, bear with me), and she puts up Derrick and Cody. Well, they’ll most likely win the BOTB and come down. The girls need to get 2 HOH winners in order to get ONE good player out of the house. The deck is stacked against them and I cant see anything changing that.
BB….bring on a frickin’ twist already….sheesh!
OH…last thing, sorry this is so long. We all know that BB has a way of influencing/controlling the game. I wonder if they wait to see if they need to “even things up” and decide which game the HG’s will play for HOH, POV, BOTB. Like for this next HOH….try to make it so a girl can win….either a endurance comp or something. OR are all the games predetermined in order no matter what. Just a thought I’ve had for a few seasons now. I know they have a limited time to set stuff up but many of these games are used season after season, just a few decorative changes made. They must be in a big warehouse ready to go. Anyway, I’m interested in what you guys/gals think.

I’m from MN, born and raised. I live in the Twin Cities. People who live “Up North” in the sticks sound just like Nicole. Us city slickers and suburban living people actually don’t have a very distinctive accent. Not like Nicole does anyway. We do have one, but its very slight, but noticeable to people not from the area.
I just did a little digging and I guess its known as The Upper Midwest (or North-Central) dialect of American English….but more commonly called “The Minnesota Accent”. This dialect region includes parts of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin and Iowa, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

It was 7 years before I got to go home to visit my family. The first thing they said was I add sounded like a southener! But, I still talked fast like a Californian! My mom summed it up by saying “I was fast on the drawel!” 🙂 I now live in North Carolina, and now sound more like a Yankee! 🙂

@Jolee – I have a friend I graduated high school with that is still in the Marines – 21 years now. He was born and bred in MN but has moved all over since joining, living mostly in the south. He has a southern accent big time now. Its kinda funny how much we are influenced by our surroundings. “Fast on the drawl” is a great line!
@hpr56 – Caleb…big emotional dummy. That’s all I think of him. That and he’s a creeper. I really hope he does lose his ever lovin’ mind on Thursday. I’m not gonna hold my breath, but man…that would be fun to watch!
What do you guys think about the question I asked about the games? Do you think they are in a predetermined order OR do you think BB puts out certain games to try and “level the playing field” or twist the game a certain way? I’m not sure myself but I don’t put anything past Production. They influence DR sessions and all sorts of things. Lots of stuff on youtube and other sites of them getting involved to sorta “direct” the show. Just curious to what everyone else thinks about it. Lay it on me!

It is an interesting question about the games. There are many times when I watch them and I think they pick particular games so that someone has a better chance to win. I could be wrong but it seems that way to me sometimes. Not all the time but some of the time.

@Keith – Yes Nicole is from MI. macy1231231 mentioned her “Minnesota accent”. I’m from MN and just was saying that Nicole’s accent bugs me! Then I did a little research and it seems that a majority of the upper midwest sounds like that. The title “Minnesota accent” is just a generalization. I blame the movie and now great TV show Fargo. 🙂

I kind figured it had to be that way, just logistically speaking, BUT I also know how the puppet masters pull the strings behind the scenes. Where did you read/see/hear that info? Sir Rock, I agree with you about Production. I think I realized it last year for the first time. I was able to get BBAD last year. My cable company doesn’t carry TVGN, so I don’t have it this year. Ok..being a Michigander, I am going to chime in here on Nicole’s *accent*. It is said that Michigan and Ohio have the purest English in the states. Kind of like newscasters. No regional dialects. Plus, accents from anywhere in the US hit our ear like a ton of bricks! 😉 That being said, I think I must throw in a couple of qualifiers now. YOOPERS..or those from the Upper Penninsula, sound like Canadians. With a little more *dese and dose* thrown in. I have never met anyone from the thumb area, where Nicole is from, and now know that they DO have an accent too. And it IS very Minnesota-ish. And NASAL! I think if anything I have heard that Midwesterners sound kind of nasal, but she takes it to a place of *clothespin nose*. It’s REALLY thick!!! I think a lot of the accent thing comes from heredity too. Aren’t alot of people from Minnesota German? Nicole is too I think and maybe when a whole culture of people live in the same area….and due to large farmlands, don’t have alot of cultural differences around them around them……the accent is just prevelant. Ok..horse dead…moving on…lol
I don’t want to keep repeating so I will jsut say I agree about the no blindsides anymore, the predictability and how it’s no fun for us to watch. Also agree that for the girls, it is probably too late. It’s their own faults and not one of them thought to get a girl’s alliance together until they were on the block. DUH!!! Maybe if you’d play the game instead of flirt, you might have considered that say…..BEFORE you were about to go home??LOL
As for Amber leaving, I am in favor of giving her another week. Do I love anything about her?? No…not really. But I feel like Caleb is to blame for her having no game at all and I cannot STAND Miss Preacher/illness-faker/bowtie wearer Jacosta and do NOT want to see her lazy butt get to jury!!!

I was just hearing some of the guys talking about getting Donny out and to Jury 1st. It really isn’t a bad idea to get him out while they can as anyone sitting next to him in the end won’t win. Don’t get me wrong, I do realize that Donny is a VERY NICE guy. But are we so seriously LOW On NICE in this country that we place it above all else?? Yes he has won the veto twice. He’s not a total floater. But he has ZERO social game and is never around either on the LFS or BBAD when I am watching. I have never thought he had any GAME. He just won the Vetos when he thought he had to. Luck does play a hand in all BB games too…let’s be honest!!! Keeping Vic in the house even just to take to the F2 kind of insures whoever is sitting next to her will WIN! But instead all the guys can think of is taking their buds!! Wait and see how that goes when you all have to start devouring each other!! Still think you will be besties then???LOL

I did find this on the LFS.(IE Nicole situation) It just doesn’t seem like enough to be upset and crying over but then again, everything in the BB House gets blown way outta proportion!!!
This is all from Monday:
3:35 PM BBT – Nicole not very happy with Frankie using her to cause trouble between Caleb and Amber. She tells Derrick that Frankie made up stuff about Amber to tell Caleb. Derrick tells her he trusts her more than he trusts Frankie.
3:52 PM BBT – Nicole tells Victoria about Frankie making up stuff and throwing her under the bus to Caleb.
3:56 PM BBT – Nicole is basically overreacting now and is afraid she’s going to be Caleb’s target. Frankie and the others tell her not to worry that Amber goes this week and Caleb will go next.
4:00 PM BBT HGs talking about how horrified they are that Caleb hit Amber with a pillow while she slept.
4:14 PM BBT – Nicole now freaking out to Hayden, saying she’s mad at Frankie for using her name to get Caleb mad at Amber.
4:55 PM BBT – Caleb tells Derrick he’s so confused and doesn’t know what to believe. He thinks that this all went wrong and that Amber is supposed to be in jury with them like they all planned. He says Zach and Victoria should go before Amber.
5:20 PM BBT – Nicole tells Amber that Caleb was the one who hit her with the pillow.

@star – I am 7/8 German, born and raised in MN. Lot of German people but its typically thought of as more of a Scandinavian area….hence the Minnesota Vikings. I believe that is the accent we end up with. If you’ve ever heard Swedish people speak, they have more of a lilt to their voice. Kind of nice sounding. Listen to a German and they could be singing you Happy Birthday and you’d think they yelling at you for being born! 😉
