Oh what a night! After watching a live eviction I always want to blog “Did you see that?” or say “Can you believe that happened last night?” Obviously, if you are reading this, you did watch and you did see it and you are excited to find out more!
Well here is what we know…
(PS SPOILERS BELOW so if you are not interested in them, STOP READING!)
Last night it was emotional for Gina Marie. I mean come on, Aaryn took the martyr approach and said if the whole house is voting me out, you should vote with them! HA! Well it was unanimous! With a vote of 5-0, Aaryn you have been evicted from the Big Brother 15 house.
Aaryn walks out and as expected boos but there was applause and quite honestly a weird mix of a reaction! I mean, it all makes total sense why…but it sounded weird to me.
Then Julie, trying to really give herself meaning on the set of Big Brother, starts laying into Aaryn and asking some tough questions…my thought was it was justified, but was it necessary THEN? Love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
The HoH comp was chicken, egg, Easter, craziness. At the end GM won and is your new HOH!
How much do you want to bet the NOMS will be McCrae and Amanda?? Bet you all a dollar! (hope I win!)
So enough of my rambling…what are your thoughts. Did you like the way it all went down? Happy that Andy survived another week? Excited about another double eviction next week? What is the special comp that is going to happen? (lame product placement or movie tie in thingy)

I thought it was a bit scripted, even the crowd – but glad Julie was paying attention to blogs, tweets and rumors about how we normal folks felt about how she should handle Aaryn upon her exit.
GM better not get cold feet – she must put up Nasty Amanda & Pizza Boy! Amanda is a ticking bomb and has to go! Not sure she would try her “don’t push my buttons” thing on GM since that NY Fire-cracker can come back with the same and more. As far as live feeds are, GM is whispering to the camera that she is putting up Amanda so I’m hoping that is all true.

I hope they both go up! Even if one wins POV and takes themself off then maybe the other can be gotten rid of in the double eviction!
As far as the Aaryn questions….GO JULIE!! Racism is learned…it doesn’t just happen because someone is from a certain state. I do think in some areas of the country it is still more prevalent (and even smaller pockets still acceptable) than others but sadly it does exist everywhere.

@Diana – AMEN Girl! I agree! Sadly Mommy & Daddy should have played a better role when Aaryn was younger and still should now. Even if it was around her, but her parents were against that kind of thinking and talk, she still would have learned properly….. I’m putting some responsibility on Mommy & Daddy and got a crazy feeling one or both feel the same as Aaryn.
Hope Aaryn learned (or will learn) something from all of this…..especially when she spent much time in the house convinced America Loved Her! Now that is the fly I want to be when she gets out and her family and friends flood her with all of the bad news and publicity! Another priceless reaction I would want to see. Ahhhhhh Karma!

I was glad that Aaryn showed a little bit of remorse about her actions while Julie was questioning her (there may be hope for her yet!). I’m not so sure that I believe her when she says, “I honestly don’t even remember saying any of those things…” but if it’s true, it’s a sad testament to the fact that her bigotry runs deep…so much so that these kinds of things just slip off her tongue without a second thought. Hopefully she is able to learn compassion for others once she has had time to reflect on the season and her behaviour.

@rmm. in regard to aaryn if she does not connect the dots by now she is a lost cause, maybe a lighting bolt will hit her and she may realize why she did NOT get letters from mom or daddy, just from friends. Like duh, does she need a brick to fall on her, sadly I think she still see nothing wrong in how she acted or what she said, it is so deeply engraved in her mind she does not see the forest for the trees.

Ok so the audience , first there’s casting sight where they pay audience members ( most shows in LA like Ricky Lake, Jefff Probst, many more its $50 for 4 hours)
The rest is usually tourists who were handed flyers on Hollywood Blvd
They are priority but not enough show up so the paid audience aka actors fill in and are happy to.
So they may have been lots of people who didn’t watch BB so I am not surprised that they were clapping.
They usually get told to keep the energy up.
So their reaction doesn’t mean anything
About Julie I am glad she Adressed Aaryn, she was personally attacked as an Asian Wonsan
But if Aaryn seemed confused I am sure she’ll be reminded when she picks up her Chinese good it get a mani / pedi and they cut her toe as opposed to cuticles.

Well I hope all the Aaron haters are satisfied, so much for parental responsibility, her “Free Speech” just slam a young person who is clearly still learning. I just hate it that everyone has decided to single Aaron out, but the other comments just slide right past, if Aaron is going to be fried, as she was, there are others who should have receive/received equal treatment.
When is some alliance going to realize they cannot talk about any eviction plans with Andy standing around, guess nobody is aware of his tattle tale methods. I hope GM does stand tall and nominate Amanda and McCray. I doubt it as Amanda will threaten her, bully her, insult her, and all of a sudden it will be GM who is in the hot box with Amanda as soon as Amanda realizes the war with Alissa is over, her rule as HOH has ended. It will not take very long as soon as Amanda hears that GM is going to put her up, she will attack GM. Keep in mind that Julie is Asian. As such, she was personally offended early in the season when Aaryn said (referring to Helen) “Dude, go make some rice”. And then the night before the eviction, Aaryn and Amanda were going on smack talking about how much they hate Asians.
Did Aaryn think that Julie would be unaware of her comments of the night before? Did she think Julie would be unaffected by them? Or did she simply forget that Julie is Asian?
Whatever, in my opinion, Julie handled it with grace and style. Yes, she asked some hard, soul-searching questions to which she got some lame ass excuses about “being southern”. Aaryn should have said, “being ignorant this is how we talk…” even that would not have been an adequate excuse because the cure for ignorance is education.

My Grandma and Grandpa were from New Mexico, and used the “N” word in their everyday conversation. After we would leave their house, my mom would explained to us kids that we should never use that “ugly” word, because we were better than that, it was used years ago, but not anymore. Betty, he’s been telling her all season that she is ruining her own game.. and his to with her antics. She had some great strategy.. and great ability to get others to do what she wants. As with any big eviction if you want to get someone out don’t put them both up, us the backdoor if you want Amanda out. If GM puts them both up there is a chance one will come off and then there is double evvition thursday so everyone that votes out one of them should watch their backs.

They figure McCrae can compete better.. especially if he is mad. they also figure Amanda will be a basket case if McCrae is evicted.. and they will be able to get her out easier.
Personally, I’d just vote Amanda out and be done with all the BS. McCrae would be mad.. but he would understand the move more than she would. She thinks it’s personal (unless she’s doing it to someone else.. then it’s game)

RMM.. GM fell on the HOH stairs. Her foot slipped out from under her and she slid down about 5 or 6 steps. She already had a really sore back from before… could barely walk the night before the HOH comp.
She is the most accident prone HG I have seen

@Becky – damaged? Meaning Elissa’s stuff? I think she just made a mess with all of the confetti in Elissa dresser drawer merged with all of her clothes. Amanda is so childish! It appears production made these HUGE balloons filled with trillions of confetti and tokens of some sort all over the house, and I guess they had to all scramble to pop balloons looking for tokens to put some kind of puzzle together and that is what Spencer won. Confetti was every single place you can imagine in the house. Is that what you meant?

I was disappointed in Julie last night. I think she would have shown more class if she hadn’t said anything to Aaryn about her racial remarks and I had the feeling she was particularly comfortable asking those questions to Aaryn. Just my opinion.

Amanda is single minded and thinks that everyone MUST feel the same way as she does or else…. She is still hating on E because she did not back down from her and stuck to her guns. She is a spoiled rotten, childish person who recognizes her shortcomings and puts them on her targets…. Hi Betty, I know we all have our opinions on how Julie handled Aaryn last night and it’s okay if we all don’t agree it was the right thing to do.
I personally felt great about it, but I think that is because I developed quite a “dislike” for this girl way back when she started her rampages. I think I would have been upset with Julie for sweeping it under the rug, so for me I was happy and happy to see Aaryn’s expression…. I waited weeks for that “deer in the headlight look!”
But I can see why some of my fellow Bloggers feel differently – it really comes down to our personal feelings for that particular BB15 player. I couldn’t find it in my heart to feel bad for her and I’m very sensitive…. I cry at Hallmark commercials! 🙂
This may have been her wake-up-call as she moves forward into adulthood. She signed up for herself to be put in front of all of us and chose her actions, so in my eyes it would only be right for her to finish with all the world to see the consequences of her actions. But that of course is only my personal opinion…. maybe I took the show too serious, but can’t help my feelings on that. 🙂

I have read every comment on the blog and now I am beginning to feel sorry for Aaryn, GM, Spencer and even a little bit towards Amanda. They are ruining their lives! No TV show is worth this. Don’t get me wrong, what they have all done is unforgivable, but most of us have made stupid mistakes in our lifetime and we should be grateful they were not shown on National TV. Again, just my opinion.

Amanda went into HOH room “to get her hoodie” (wanted to talk game of course). But Elissa was already in there. Amanda came downstairs and started whining to Spencer, Andy, & McCrae that Elissa was game talking and monopolizing the time.
I guess Amanda was pissed because she sees monopolizing someone’s time with game talk as her job. 😆 Amanda actually thinks that anyone else playing the game is “unfair”. I guess until recently, she’s had no reason to think otherwise.

I also applaud Julie on how it was handled. You can tell by Julie’s actions that she doesn’t care for Aaryn but she was still cordial and nice. She didn’t attack like I would have. lol Aaryn was so caught off guard that her first response was she was from the South. If I were from the South I would take offense at that but the audience didn’t buy it for a min. and every time Aaryn gave a stupid answer, they laughed. I’m surprised Aaryn didn’t start crying on stage but sure she did off stage. CBS had to address it because it became such a big deal. They could have waited and did it at the finale in front of all the other HGs which would have been worse imo. It was handled correctly.

Last night on BBad, E asked Spencer and Andy what they would do about Amanda if it were them being tortured. Andy said he couldn’t keep quiet like E was doing and for E to tell Amanda to go F herself. Well when E did what Andy had said, he was on the band wagon that E should ignore Amanda. Then he proceeds to go to Amanda and Mc and tell them E is outside talking about it. He’s such a little weasel and trouble maker, and am still not trusting him 100% that he’s not still with McAnderthal.

Thanks BBBlogger for the new post. I was so happy GM won. Good for her. Someone said Andy was ahead at some point but may have thrown it on purpose. He’s done that more than once and that’s part of his strategy I guess.
I loved Julie’s conversation with Aaryn. Yes, very mother like with a tone of shame on you added. It was appropriate and necessary. Now we’ll have to see what she says to the others. I agree with whoever said GM will probably be the only one who realizes how awful they were and does something to fix it. She’s street smart and knows how to comfort someone without giving in to them. She did it with Amanda. And after Amanda is nominated, I’ll bet she tries to console her and tell her it’s only game. How will Amanda respond to that. Will she blow? If she does, GM will come back twice as hard and someone said we’ll have our first chest bump. 😯 😆
I too feel sorry for what these guys are going to experience in the real world. They are all adults and absolutely knew they were on TV 24/7. No excuse for that terrible behavior in all it’s forms.

There are quit a few of the houseguests whom have said things that are hurtful to someone. GM has to know that Amanda is just as big if a bully as Jeremy! Okay – I have mostly read all the posts and now I have to put in my two cents worth.
Julie and Aaryn: I think Julie showed quite a bit of restraint. She was NOT cruel nor attacking. She gently (yes I said gently) referred to the mixed greeting she received from the audience. I would think Aaryn would realize that most of the people walk out to loud cheers and clapping. Those were conspicuously missing. Some clapping but no cheering. Julie spoke gently and I was impressed. I think the public expected her to address Aaryn’s behavior and she did it as gently as I think could be done. Aaryn was surprised. She tried to think but couldn’t. So she lied. It’s pretty scary to be approached on your personal behavior that is unacceptable in the outside world. Especially in front of a camera. There is a time when the parents are no longer responsible for what their children say. Aaryn has passed that time. I really do not like the parents being blamed and held responsible for all the poor actions of their children. When those kids get in school, their peers have a lot more influence on them than their parents. I hold my feelings about parental responsibility until I have had a chance to be around the parents. Aaryn had no response but now she has time to think about her behavior before she joins the real world again. That’s my take on it.
As far as the idea of back dooring Amanda or McRea, that doesn’t always work. Elissa really wanted Aaryn out at first. She decided later on to back door Amanda and you all saw what happened with that one. Just a simple win in a VETO comp and the back door goes out the front door. Smart idea to put them both up (and I’m sure Elissa wishes she had wanted Amanda out at first instead of Aaryn). That way, no matter what – one is gone. With a double eviction, maybe even both. Amanda is not intelligent enough to realize she is on an island all alone. If she tries to say “they” will be going after whoever puts them up, it’s a joke. Who are “they”? Everyone wants the out right now. She is no longer calling the shots. Even if she won HOH, she will not make people vote the way she wants.
Okay – so I have had my say about Julie and Aaryn and about back dooring. I hope I have not offended anyone as that was not my intent.

I went back and watched what happened right after the nom’s and love how GM didn’t bow down. At first I thought she would but she didn’t. I was pissed that

Proud of Judd for letting Amanda know that everyone might as well pack their bags when she told GM that one of them WILL win the veto and WILL pull off her or Pizza Boy for sure and they will vote out whoever she puts up in their place – Finally these puppets are hearing Amanda admit they will do what she says. Amanda immediately acted as if Judd was in on everything….. If Andy and Spencer would have joined the other 3 and let Amanda & Pizza Boy know they are no longer on their side – Amanda would not have a chance in hell! But those two are going to bounce back and forth, float if you will, as long as they can.

So here’s the question of the hour… with the exception on McCrea’ s b-day night, when has Elisa “tormented” the other hgs?? I know she walks around with a look of disgust quite a bit, but if that house smells half as bad as it looks, who wouldn’t?? I’m just trying to figure out the root of Amanda’s issues with her, is there any realistic rationale?

This is only one of many shows, that this year has allowed the dirt to float and be seen by near everyone. A reasonable adult will wash it off, but what about those than cannot?

*fish, he’s hanging with the cool kids in hoh, random chatter, but I like that, gives you a feel of real personality vs gameplay. If I didn’t see this stuff I would never come around on GM. hateful crap she has said aside, she is very genuine and I think she will see how she has behaved and atone for it.
I can picture the school assembly tour now with Candice and GM teaching kids about hate, race, and bullying and how to become friends… really, that would be awesome!! I know some people don’t think bb is kids friendly, but I let my daughter watch and we discuss how people behave and how it’s good or bad.. loved having Elisa as an example of how to react to bullying.. WTG Elisa, I’d never have that much control!!

That was pure game bu Judd.. he will vote her out in a hearbeat. He knows Amanda was the driving force behind him getting backdoored in the double eviction.. even though it was Helen in Aaryn’s ear that day.
Remember, they all still have to consider jury votes just in case they make final 2. They have to make people believe they are seriously thinking about keeping them… then tell them “I tried.. the votes aren’t there.. I have to vote with the house”.
This is a game where you have to be phony (some more than others.. but still). Always keep that in mind when listening to conversations.

macy, that was true… before McCrae won POV. Now all that doesn’t really matter.
If noms had stayed the same.. McCrae would have been voted out. Andy & Spencer were looking forward. They have both stayed in good with Am & Mc.. therefore Amanda was less of a threat to them than Elissa. They know after Am & Mc.. that they are Elissa’s next targets. It makes sense for Andy & Spencer to have wanted Elissa out before Amanda… especially after McCrae was gone (the point is moot now though).
On the other hand, Judd & GM would have wanted Amanda out before Elissa.. because they are both in pretty good with Elissa.

MM, my secret is…. I’m a fanatic (which I guess really isn’t a secret anymore).
Even though I work long hours during the week, I come home and scan flashbacks for key info… and I have to actually watch it in context. I even check for things when I wake up before work. This is a tough season to keep track of what’s really happening.. and they only way to do that is A LOT of watching. If I read about something.. I will watch it also.
I was surprised to read on other sites how shocked they were when Judd got evicted during double eviction (and they are people that get paid to do this stuff)…… I saw that coming a mile away.

I went to a meetup.com BBQ earlier today, end of summer event. We had such torrential rains a few days ago here in Vancouver, it was iffy if the event was still going to happen. But it turned out to be a glorous day, 100+ strangers showed up for the Extremely Shy Vancouver event 🙂
I came home took the tablet out to the balcony hammock and got myself all up to date.
Now I am feeling whimsical, summer is about to end, BB is about to end, it is my b-day tomorrow which means I will be a year older and a year closer to death lol. . and the world isn’t any saner or safter than it was yesterday and I am not counting on any improvement tomorrow or the day after.
But in the future I think I will remember more about this season of BB than I know of all previous years combined.

LOL@ all the antics of Amanda trying to convince everyone it’s in their best interest for her to stay.. her logic only bears out of she were in the final two with whoever she is currently taking to. I kept wanting them to say, so you are asking me to trust you to take me over McCrea and hand you $50,000?? She just can’t face the fact that there is no strategic value to any other hgs to keep both her and McCrea in the game. And they all know Elisa is McCrea #1 target next week so threats that they are “ruining their game” voting her out are veiled and empty.
Love the commradery of the exterminator once she left, they may have floated this far but they are fun to watch now!

A lot of posts this evening.
I fell asleep right after I posted that link to the why age matters in the Big Brother house. I think what they were getting at in that slideshow was that the 2 most controversial seasons–this season and season 9 (?) had the youngest average cast.
It makes sense that even fans have been screaming for an older overall cast, more diversity in the ages and backgrounds of the HGs. It seems we see the problems more than the producers, unless they are aiming for the controversy.

Are there any videos out there of E doing Yoga? I would love to see her doing a workout. From what we saw when she was showing Howard, she’s pretty darn good. She must be if she’s internationally certified.
