Big Brother 12 begins in 157 days (or so)

Hey everyone,

So welcome February and just think…tomorrow is Groundhogs day!

One month closer to Big Brother 12. According to our “best guess” countdown on Big-Brother-Fans.com we have only 157 days until Big Brother 12.

So in order to slowly start getting ready I need your help.

Please comment below on what you want to see on this blog this year.
– What would you like different?
– What do you want more of?

I am thinking about going back to the old comment system since people have been having issues with the one I have installed.

    Personally, i like the comment box after the comments. Now you have to read then come back up to the box.

    I also agree with Sals comment about the 'comment box' being at the bottom, following all the 'comments'.

    I would also agree with Frannie about 'less Gadgets' and we definetly need the 'emoticons'. Hell, they add life to the blog, before you even start to read the comment.

    I don't think we need more 'updates'. Some people like to be suprised and as JT said it is always being commented on throughout the day. If it is something new, just let people know in advance just in case someone wants to be suprised.

    The comment box at the top works ok. I set up mine so that the new comments appear at the top.

    Now the reply box pops up nice below the comment. If I want to comment about something I've read downstream, I have to come back to the top to make my comment!!!!

    JT, goodmorning. How do you comment on a comment when the comment you want to comment on you 'haven't even read yet', but the 'comment box' is at the top of the page where it doesn't belong.

    I am not trying to argumentive. Just trying to bring a little common sense to this!!

    I followed that FRANKS.... believe it or not. I guess after 2 months of this commenting system, I am used to it. I guess the comment box at the bottom is what most are used to... I'll play along either way.

    I scroll up to see replies... or I scroll down to see replies. I am ambidextrous... LOL

    Of course, JT. You don't think I was going anywhere else with that, their might be children reading this blog. I wouldn't want to offend anyone! ( I was washing dishes that's why I didn't respond sooner).

    I agree with JT as far as the reply are concerned. I think it will get real hectic to use replys for such a busy blog. The format used last year was much better. But...if that's what most people want...I will go right along and have fun no matter.
    We all want emoticons....it makes for a lot mor fun.
    As far as the gadgets....we really don't need all them.

    Yep.. I knew :lol: would show up as just that... :lol: It was my way of pointing out the obvious. We can all imagine how funny it would have been to actually SEE the laughing face. I rest my case... emoticons are funny!! They might even make some of your comments funny Ted!

    Yeah, very funny JT... I looked at the emoticon code and it had " marks which you didn't use, and thought I might make it work. I guess it does have to be turned on. I'm sure that's the first thing you added.

    Would not be wise to allow Emoticons, BBB! I would hope this blog would strive for a higher level than seen on others. After all... with such a serious topic as Big Brother, I think we can only expect high standards. ⚇

    Me First!!! I like this commenting system... but replies can pop up anywhere. Some of us have gotten used to the reply feature, but it could get messy when BB12 starts. I am good either way you want to do it. I know some people have mentioned problems with the blogs.... seems the more gadgets that are added.. the more people have issues getting here?? I hate to see some regulars give up on us.

    Ted wants me to ask you if we can have emoticons back :lol: (I know that didn't work).

    More serious.... last year there were a couple comments about more updates. I think one update per day was plenty. We have a lot of people that follow the show very closely. If anything happens... it gets mentioned in the comments.

    Not a lot of help from me... just want to say keep up the good work and I am looking forward to another great season.
