Personally, I think Jeff and Jordan would be stupid as hell if they voted to evict Russell.. as far as I am concerned Russell has been completly honest with both of them the whole way and Natalie is just telling them lies about how Russell is planning to backdoor them.. lets just hope Russell wins POV and NOT Kevin.. Even if Michelle wins POV that would be good.

Cameron, the thing that has them doubting Russ is that immediately after Jeff saved him, Russ went in and voted to keep Jessie….. then lied about it.

I think it’s nice, for a change, that we don’t know the POV winner and can specualte here a bit instead of being so seemingly ahead of CBS’s prime time show. For a while there, it seemed we were 3-5 days ahead of the curve, taking some of the thrill out of watching BB on Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday. At least today we’re pretty much on the same page as the HGs, the producers and the rest of the world. I think it’s better for the show and this chat room when we don’t get way ahead of the show, altough by it’s (this blog) nature, it can’t help but reveal everythng immediately.
For example, we here all knew Chima left Saturday (?), but Sunday’s BB had nothing about it except the tease at the end. It took until Tuesday for most viewers to see how and why. It’s sort of like watching a sporting event that has been taped when you already know what happened.
All that being said, has anyone heard who won the POV? lol

Natalie OUT! It can’t be too soon!

Last night’s BB/AD was a 1/2 hr of eating, followed by 2 & 1/2 hrs of playing cards (They played some Texas hold ‘em and as I’ve predicted here before…. Nat got smoked!) The few minutes of BB game-play led me to believe that Jordan is leaning towards getting Russ out while Jeff is thinking Nat would be the best target. That could have all changed, after all, it was 10 hrs ago!

This would be beautiful if they kept Russell and then he won the HOH which will be endurance. Then he decides his odds in the end are better with Natalie and Kevin or Lydia and Kevin depending on who goes, turns his back and takes out Jeff. Honestly, thats his best move, I’ll guess we’ll see if he’s a man of his word, or wants to win a half million. I hope he chooses the game over his word. NOBODY will beat either Jeff or Jordan in the end.

I think they need to send Lydia or Natalie home.

Those two players…. sorry, those two winy, sore losing girls need to get out! Theyre ruining the game and spirit that is Big Brother.

I think they need to pick them off and make it Jeff Jordan Russell Mechelle and Kevin. Kevin needs to stop associating himself with Lydia and Natalie if he wants to have any security in the game.

As much as I adore Jeff and Jordan, the paranoia/negative attitudes this week leaves me rooting for Russell. You are correct Chris, Russell can’ t win at the end against J/J. It is in his best interest to either bring Michelle or Lydia to the end if he wants the big money. Thursday should be a good show!

Justaguy, I heard the same kind of thing – that Jordan wanted to get Russell out and kept him awake all night last night talking about the game and the scenarios. Natalie really needs to go. She’s an instigator and a liar and those are the two worst traits for them to have in the house against them at this time. If they keep her and she wins HOH, Jeff will be up. And her speech to him will have something to do with him taking away her best friends in the house and after all, It’s Just A Game. She would throw it right back at him. I just know it. They should have just stuck with their original plan. Also, since Nat was saying last night about playing Texas Hold’Em so much, why didn’t they figure out that she’s not 18?

I think it would be in their best interest to get rid of Natalie. Out of the n,l,k trio she is the one who has a shot at actually winning any future HOH comps. Lydia isn’t a treat at all, they can pretty much get rid of her when ever they want so they don’t need to worry about her too much for the time being. If J&J wants to win this they need to take out Nat first then Russ, then Mich. Kev, and Lydia will be cake after that.

Although I’m not saying that I want J&J specifically to win. I don’t really have anyone in particular I’m rooting for to win. Instead I have a list of people I DON’T want to win. And the last two people on that list is Nat and Lydia. So I’m very much hoping Nat is the one to go next. Leaving her in gives her the opportunity to turn things in her favor. That’s how BB works all hope could be lost one week, and the next you are king of the castle.

Great point about Nat’s real age and playing Texas Hold’em hpr56. No one even blinked an eye when she said that. 18-year-olds playing poker in a casino? That should have clicked with Jeff and Russell at least. That seems to be her ENTIRE strategy in this Game—lie about your age and it will help you get all the way to the end. (Sound elimination buzzer noise now.)

Who knows what Russell will do when,but I agree Chris he probably won’t win a Final 2 vote against J&J (Unless both Kevin-Lydia swing that way) and I agree with my man justaguy that if J&J get rid of Russell now, it may be the worst move if Kevin-Lydia-Natalie stay, one win’s HOH and the decided to turn the tides one more time.
And Chima really did “her side” a dis-service by getting Das Boot and not being able to provide a vote. Her, Jessie and Natalie would all likely be on the same page, meaning if they could get one more player (Jeff, Jordan, Russell, Michelle, Lydia or Kevin) on their side, they could determine the winner of the Game. And now it’s moot.

I hope they keep Russell and he turns, then I’ll gladly say I told you so. If you have J/J’s interest in mind then numbers don’t matter when the other team has nobody who can compete in a competition.

hpr56, I was thinking the same thing. How can you claim to be 18 and then say you’ve played Tx hold ‘em tournaments in casinos? She explained it away by telling them that she goes to security and gets a wristband to show she’s under 21. As far as I know, you have to be 21 to gamble in casinos. They didn’t really question her on it. She has made quite a few statements that she’s had to backtrack on. I can’t believe they haven’t figured her out yet…. although Kevin did call her out on day 1.

Great! I hope they believe her! That would be awesome if she gets them to take out Russell, then wins HOH and flips the house back to the side that was dominating before the crippling Coup D’ Etat. Best Player ever is Dan. He didn’t win any competetions until late in the season, he completed every task as America’s player and won the game. He would stomp Will in an allstar season. Will played the first season, no golden veto, maybe no veto at all? If there was it was never used. Backdooring didn’t exist. Dan played a much harder game and won it with ease.

Chris, Will played in BB2 & BB7.

On a personal note, I woulf be a little worried about Lydiot being the next to leave because she has the hero worship going on with Jessie. I don’t see Jessie being worried about this girl at all, and if given the chance of being alone with her for a week. She would quickly become his play thing. Then once the game is over, he would be just as quick to kick her to the curb. Lidiot doesn’t impress me as having much in the way of self esteeme, this I believe would just push her closer to the edge, as if she needed more help.

So, game play aside, I would like to see Gnat be the next out to then become Jessie’s play thing and perhaps spare Lydiot the brunt of th fall that is coming.

I think Russell is setting J/J up for his shot to backdoor them. If you recall on BBAD the other night while sitting outside Russell was repeating over and over how bad it would be to make a BOLD move this late in the game. Of course he would say that because he doesn’t have the ability to make it this week. He’s trying to work so he doesn’t get backdoored. It’s a risk to take him out this week and dwindle your numbers, but you don’t get to the end playing things safe.

Nat or Lydia – what to do. Either one will have the Jury House with Jesse all to themselves. Neither one has won a competition. I think Nat is the most annoying, so get her out of there.

Also, I don’t know how many of you remember the comedian Groucho Marx, but he sang in an old movie called “Lydia the Tatooed Lady”. Look it up. Just put in the name of the song and you will see it. Strange but true. Was is prophetical?

Oh boy. Wish it were a double eviction. Lydia is actually too nutso to win so i’d leave her around. Natalie and Kevin are lying and paranoid. I don’t trust Russ..he makes promises to several that they’re safe and going to the end with him. Nat’s butch enough to win a physical comp yet michelle can pretty well hold her own. I’d rather see Michelle win over anyone but the J and J’s. I DO LIKE THEM. Jordan seems to be sincerely sweet. She hasn’t gone nutso and flipped out like most of the other girls and some of the guys. I like Jeff. I don’t trust Russell at all nor Kevin. I say get Kevin out first THEN Russell. Saying Kevin is a smart player who holds the girls together and we don’t want them ‘held together’ anymore but more loose cannons so no one will like them. Then Russ has to get out somehow or he’ll win this thing. Though i Don’t feel he deserves it..some think he’s great at playing it but i don’t like him.

I think Gnat should go. Do the house guest still think she is 19 instead of 24?
All the remaining house guest should think about taking Russell with them to the finale two no one will give him the grand prize. Then again I did not think they would give the grand prize to Dan either. You never know!

I haven’t yet read all the comments, so forgive me if I’m stepping on any toes…

I am beginning to be disgusted with Jeff. He’s turned into a complete idiot. There was no reason to doubt Russell, but Jeff’s paranoia (and foolish trust in Kevin) has caused Russell to have some doubts. Jeff and Jordan have managed (with Michelle and Kevin spilling the beans behind their backs) to behave in a manner that is making Russell suspect the truth–e.g. that they are thinking about backdooring him. As a result, Russell is concluding that he needs to go into “Lone Wolf mode” prematurely (he planned to wait until final 4). He will be gunning for the strongest players, meaning Jeff first.

I’m almost at the point of hoping that Russell wins POV, and then HoH, and that the sends Jeff packing. Jeff’s stupidity and willingness to dump his agreement–based solely upon the word of an enemy (Kevin)–would make that a just result.

Jeff has played honorably up until now; but his consideration of backdooring Russell a clear indicator of a distasteful character flaw.

Linda, maybe NAT and KEV should switch roles.

Roller, The reason they are considering backdooring Russ is… they don’t know if they can trust him. Jeff saved him and then Russ turned around and voted to keep Jessie. Then he lied to them about it. Then Russ was telling Michele that he would take out J/J. I’m not saying that he would go against them, but in this game, you have to consider it.

Maria, nobody won veto yet. they are not going to play it until tomorrow (live?).

It seems like that will make for a watered-down show tomorrow night, if they really intend to shoehorn a POV comp, a veto ceremony, an eviction, and an HoH comp all into a single show. They should have done the veto comp today, the ceremony tomorrow morning, and then have a “standard” live show tomorrow night.
With everything happening within an hour, it’s going to be like a one-paragraph summary of a 350-page novel.

Will star Dr. Drew, do any of you know him from his reality show about past “stars” who want to kick their bad habits (drink and drugs). They stayed in a rehab house and worked thru their addictions. Kind of like bb house but they were allowed to have people in and they could go out.
CBS can have the hgs go from the jury house to a rehab.
If some of them are not crazy now, they will be at the end of the show, lol

#1-My favorite part of the show last night was when Allison (the producer) called Chima into the diary room and said “dont even bother sitting down, you are going out this way’ I LOVED IT!

Never saw the Kevin lie to Jeff actually play out on TV…Did he buy it “hook, line and sinker” as was opined above, justaguy (And all my justa…’s are aimed at you brother) or anyone? That may matter in the long run. I saw Kevin, Lydia and Natalie talking about it being their only real chance at this point on BBAD earlier this week…
And all this second-guessing and passing judgment on Russell and Jeff when we don’t know exactly what’s happened yet, or the repercussions (sp?) of those theorectical moves that haven’t happened yet, is silly. But wait, this is a chat room isn’t it? And I’m in it whining about the same crap as everyone else, so…ah, just forget it! Me dumb. Comment on bloggerfolk, it’s pretty fudging funny sometimes, and as I noticed two nights ago watching BBAD, sometimes this Chat Room is way better than the programming (Tks justaguy, Star, FRANKS).
And I’m starting to respect some of Chris’s views the more I read his stuff. And he mentioned something interesting about intending sarcasm, something I myself have trouble perfectly projecting into the BBblog with occassionally getting torn to shreds over the simplest intended bit of humor. I guess unless the reader really know your style, sarcasm can be heard to figure out in a forum like this.
I still think Jeff-Russell-Michele may make the best Fnal 3 since Janelle, Boogie and Dr. Will (Is this right justaguy?) in BB All-Stars should they get there. And I’m still pulling for Jeff and don’t think he’s quite as dumb as some of you seem to think. This thought of being forced to trust Russell now (and not backdoor him) as opposed to letting him go another week when anything can happen that week, is pretty moot right now. And we all know how many Friday-morning quarterbacks (that’s a good one) and second-guessers will say what they’re gonna say ANYWAY largely based on who they’re pulling for. I hope Jeff wins, but would respect Michele or Russell justasmuch (ah!) 11.11 years from now. So, if Jeff had a chance to hand Jordan the $500K (and finish 2nd with $50K?) so her family could get a house, would he be deemed dumb in BB terms? And Amber, What Would God Think Of That? I think she’d probably like it…

Ok, lots of comments here, ots I agree with too. I would like for Natalie to be voted off this week. Did you hear her Tuesday> She says she’s been running the house in one of her diary room sessions. Seriously, if anyone is thinking of taking Natalie to the end, her whole team is in the jury house – wonder who they vote for to win?? I know it’s getting time for him to go soon I just don’t think it is this week. Russell voted for Jessie to stay the way he voted for Casey, he’s explained that, he gave his word to them. Not sure how Jeff is using that against him now, but I’m not locked up in there with them. Its got to mess with your mind. No other reason for the messed up season we’ve watched so far!

Thanks Jeff Rocks. That’s why I put the (?) after that and asked for help. I thought it was the two guys and Janelle but it was Erika, Janelle and Mike Boogie in A-S’s Final 3?
(The two girls finding out the guys were playing them w/the Showmance thing, then giving Dr, Will his walking papers?) I forget. Too much drain bamage since my girl Chima left! (lol)
Anyway, if it is Jeff-Michele-Russell in the Final 3, do you think that’s as good, or maybe a stronger Final 3 than Mike Boogie, Janelle and Erika? I must admit, Janelle and Mike Boogie are two of the best players in BB history so it may be a tough (or easy) call. But this season isn’t over yet, so J-M-R do have to make that theoretical Final 3. And we shouldn’t probably judge them long-term until BB11 is over.
If Michele keeps winning stuff, then wins it the $500K, she’s up there… You go girl.
If Jeff wins a crucial HOH or POV down the stretch and also wins it all, he, primarily for the Coup d’Etat move, will be remembered as a dragon slayer. You go boy.
And if Russ can find a way to get by Jeff and Michele AND get the necessary votes from a Jury that may hate him (He’s lucky Chima’s vote is out), he may be remembered for ridding us of Ronnie, being the first on “that side” to go against his team, and survive his apparent eviction last Thursday. You’d have to give the guy credit at that point.

You’re right, we need to get the live feeds to witness stuff like this. And maybe we should petition Showtime to air BB 24/7. There ratings would jump but I have a feeling lawyers would prevent a raw feed from airing in the real world. We may accidentally hear something about race or religion or something even worse. Which brings up a question Kim Mitchell, do the Live Feeds ever get “fish-tanked”? Thanks again guys. BBAD should be interesting tonight.
And, underlying all this above is the fact that Michele doesn’t WANT TO trust Russell. I can’t say I really blame her, but if you watched BBAD last night, Jeff+Jordan are on to the fact that Michele has trouble with the truth and have started to “read her tells.” Was nice to see Jordan talk to Jeff about Michele’s idiosycricies (sp?) and how she got under pressure questioning. Get down with your bad self Jordan! And more than one HG (and peeps here) have called Michele out for conveniently not remembering things–like Russell’s truth to her that caused the famous Chima-Russell blow-up upstairs. But in the end, Michele’s fake memory lapses is just as much a game strategy as Gnatalie not telling her real age or Dr. Will bragging about lying to everyone all the way to the $500,000. Strategy is strategy and all is fair in love and war and the BB House. It’s just hard to accept a player who backs into a win and doesn’t really earn it after watching previous seasons.

Also, why is Michele so upset?? Seems like she’s seething thru her smile and I must have missed that too! I think I have been focusing more on this blog than BBAD cuz we are LOTS more entertaining! Me too. Seems Favre has come out of retirement more than Jessie has been in the BB House! With that defense and AP and rookie Percy Harvin, it didn’t seem so bad being a Vikings fan headed into this season, but now, with Favre, you know he’ll get all the attention until he’s rolled off the field on a cart and decides to re-re-re-retire again. May be a sad ending. Not thrilled with Rosenfels or Jackson at QB, but this seems personal and egomaniacal–something a lot of us here loate in BB HGs.

They (CBS-Showtime-Alison Grodner) really do need to find a way of keeping the late-in-the-season shows more entertaining. I’ll put on my thinking cap. The clay and the deck of cards and now tie-dye (spelling) may keep the HGs momentarily occupied, but watching that crap on TV is the equivalent of watching paint dry. For some reason, I like it when they get drunk, and to me, Russell, Michelle and Jessie are the funniest drunks. Michelle gets way tipsy way easy, Russell is an overly happy drunk willing to hide beers from Production to help enhance future buzzes and Ole Boy Jessie completely changed into a nice person, sort of embarassed teh Game was still going on around his little wine buzz. If I could drink with justone (gotcha!), it’d be Jeff as he doesn’t seem to change that much or get too happy or too mean.
I was thinking about past things HGs did to bide their time like the bowling alley they set up, the ping pong balls in the beer game, the old Natalie doing HG portraits on paper towels, Hide n’ Seek and something like baseball in the backyard until all the balls went over the wall and Production usually refused to retrieve them. They do need to think of SOMETHING as it seems the show always hits some kind of entertainment wall–especially for Live Feed and BBAD viewrs–right around this time. Dude! It does seem the older we get, the faster time seems. Why it’s August, almost September, almost 2010, almost…Anyway, looked up Red Eye and it airs here (Southern Nevada) at 12 midnight–the same time as BBAD and the same time I’m taping David Letterman’s last half-hour. But I’ll give it a look around 12:30 am PT and let you know what I thought. And I’m not that young my man, my favorite groups growing up were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Elton John and Led Zeppelin, a pack of baseball cards were a nickel and a gumball was a penny.

I know it’s cultural and I know different people in different places say different things but you hit the nail on the proverbial head–it’s laziness of the tongue via the mind! How a three-letter, one-syllable word like “ask” can be butchered by SO MANY PEOPLE in SO MANY PLACES is probably part of the big reason America is falling way behind other countries. If we all can’t even pronounce ask right, then I can’t blame aliens for not wanting to have anything to do with us. I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re (The aliens) carving into fields in England–directions on pronouncing the word “ask.” And do you really think Pavlov coould hang with our crew here? lol

The other contestants are probably feeling tempted to evict Lydia since she’s being such a miserable craphead, but I think it makes more sense strategically to get rid of Natalie and I think she’s the one who’s going to be voted out unless she manages to save herself by winning POV. She’s never won a competition before, though, has she?

There’s actually going to be a double eviction this Thursday, isn’t there? Maybe both of them will get kicked out.

I agree that Natalie needs to go. She lies so much I cannot stand listening to her talk. She told Jordan and Kevin she never cried about Jessie leaving. She was crying with Chima and Lydia at the kitchen table after he was evicted out. I don’t have time to list all the lies she has told.

Hey CHRIS you will probably like this thought::: SO if Kevin wins POV that means Lydia comes down and either Russell or Michelle takes the spot. Kevin and Lydia would both vote to keep Natalie and Jeff would stay true BUT would Russell and Michelle both stay true to their alliance and force Jordan to break the tie and evict Natalie OR would either Russell or Michelle decide to shake things up a bit by looking at numbers for next HOH comp?! Strategically speaking if Russell goes up and Michelle jumps ship and votes out Russell then it would be Jeff against all the others for getting HOH – and if I’m Michelle I got to figure I can beat those other 3 in most competitions! Use them to pick off J & J and then pick them off 1 at a time!

BUT probably being an endurance competition maybe not such a good idea afterall!

My bbad went out last night after being on for about 1/2 hour.
we had a horrible storm, lighting, thunder, rain in buckets and all i could think of “wonder what is happening in the bb house” lol
I am so addicted it is terrible.

Well I might be wrong.. They are talking about a quick veto comp.. Trying to guess what was in the past used as a quick veto comp. Jordan told Gnat not to panic if she gets it and does not use it on her.. She said it is better to stick to their plan of keeping Gnat and Lydiot up and just letting the voting take place to get Lydiot out.. Sooo now I am not sure.. One thing I am sure they have been told not to talk about it.. Everytime someone mentions the Veto comp it cuts to fish tank.. Live feed back again.. they are all hurrying around cleaning kitchen.. Must of been told to straighten up before show starts.
I am sick.. totally sick.. my husband said He is taking away my live feeds so he can get some time with me.. hee hee hee He calls it BB abuse..
