Hey everyone! I am very glad you are a part of Big Brother blog and am extremely excited about my new site called Big-Brother-Fans.com! It is going to be the place to be during Big Brother 11. If you go there you will see we have started the countdown and are all ready playing games, chatting and having a great time.
That is where YOU come in!
On Tuesday night March 31, 2009, according to my BEST GUESS, we are exactly 100 days from the next Big Brother! (Big Brother 11) With that being said I want to officially open up the new site and get everyone together and have a PARTY!
So…be here at 8:00pm EST/7:00pm CST on Tuesday March 31, 2009. There will be chat, games and yes….I will give away some prizes! (possibly an iPod Shuffle or Big Brother t-shirts and hats!)

Hey Bonnie, I do not know exactly or officially when BB11 will start. However here is what I do know.
I know that I have seen a press release from CBS stating that Big Brother will return Summer of 09. I have also seen TV commercials that say apply now which in Big Brother world that makes sense for a summer start.
Historically Big Brother 11 starts in July. Now…do I know the exact date? No. However my guess is Thursday July 9th seems to be a logical start date. If not then I would say it would be “around” that week or so. Maybe a Sunday start, maybe a Tuesday start, maybe starting the next week. All I know is that it will be about 100 days. (in my honest and educated guess)
So what if I am wrong? Well…it would not be the first time. However, I still will have my sites and I will still notify people when we know the official start date.
Lastly, do we really need an official reason to have an online party? LOL. Worst case we just get together, chat, hang, try to win prizes, etc. I think any reason to have a party is a good reason.
I hope that helps explain my stance. Please join us….it will be fun to chat with other Big Brother fans! Plus…you never know who might show up.

Hey,100 days sounds good to me!(and about right too) It has been a long, hard winter with my husband’s company suffering layoffs(he survived tho,thank God)and my mom being in the hospital for almost the last 3 months! So SUMMER and BB11 sound like HEAVEN to me!!! Hmmm..that could be an advertising catch phrase…..Heaven is BB11!!lol
BBBlogger…a couple of questions. DO we have to sign up again for your new website? I tried twice with what I thought was my name and password here, but with no luck. Also, will you be eliminating this one? I hope not because I personally like this site better….probably just habit and fond memories, but that’s the way i feel.
I also didn’t see where the chat room was but then again I wasn’t signed in.
Am looking forwad to chatting,watching,kvetching….BB11 will be HEAVEN!!!heheheh

Hey Star…some info about the new site…
1. Big-Brother-Blog.com is not going anywhere. This site will continue to be what it is. I am thinking about reorganizing it but am still not 100% sure. I like the simple feel of this site but I am also wanting to make it look better…
2. Big-Brother-Fans.com does require you to sign in to access the chat room and a few other forums. That site is more of a social site to get to know other Big Brother fans and just call home all while getting your fill of Big Brother 11!
3. The 2 sites are seperate. So different log in accounts. You can keep them the same if you want but you would have to register over there first. If you have FACEBOOK, you can log in using your facebook account and tie that site into your account where if you post you can also post on your facebook wall! (that is a sweet thing)
4. The chat room is at the other site. The easiest way to get to it is to click the Big Brother Chat Room button on the right side bar. You do need to be signed into the site but it is worth it. The other thing is there are a lot of people over there and they would LOVE to meet other Big Brother fans. Be sure to check it out.
