Big Brother 10: Top 9 Rankings
As of this very second, I do believe the nomination ceremony for this week is taking place. All the feeds are on bubbles.
We’re pretty sure Libra will get nominated, and HoH Michelle has made no bones about it. But who will go up against her: Keesha or Dan? Even though Libra and Keesha mused last night about their impending fate, there is also a big push by houseguests like Jerry to get Dan on the block.
A brief reset: Dan is not in the good graces of Jerry, April, Ollie and particularly Michelle for his deciding vote in last night’s eviction. Nevermind that he’s America’s Player.
The rest of the houseguests don’t know this. Well, they do, but they don’t if you get my drift. They watched BB8, and they suspect Dan is playing for America.
Why doesn’t somebody work him to get him to admit it, one on one? Dan seems like a fairly nice guy, but he’s definitely apt to spill the beans, more than Eric was.
Food comps have already happened, but I have to say: Those aren’t really doing much for me in terms of interest. During BB8, slop really affected Jen’s play from a mental perspective, but putting Jerry on slop for the umpteenth week doesn’t seem to do much.
Old men and their fiber, I guess.
Don’t laugh. Fiber is good, although in a house full of people, I’m not sure I’d be all that bearable after four weeks of the stuff. And, I am presuming that this concoction of oats and whatever has some dietary fiber and nutritional worth to it.
I could be wrong. Perhaps Jerry is dying a slow death out there.
Alas, I’ve seen your Top 3 rankings, and color me surprised. I hear where your coming from with Dan and Keesha. They’re likeable. Good people, it seems.
And, I like that some of you mentioned Renny, who I am pulling for. She’s good people, bottom line. I’d go party with her in New Orleans anytime.
However, I think one of the houseguests is heads and tails above the rest right here, right now. It could change in the bat of an eye, but given that we all acknowledge producers have manhandled BB10 a bit this summer, I suspect one houseguest has a big-time built-in advantage.
So, here goes with this week’s edition of BB10 rankings.
9. Libra. She’s enemy No. 1 of the house right now, overall, devoid of any one thing that she might have done. Plus, America doesn’t like her either, which means America’s vote will almost certainly go to oust her. I cannot imagine ANY way she wins this.
8. Ollie. Who will sell out whom first? I suspect April will win out in this battle between lovers, should that scenario arise. He’s much more interested in sex than in game-play.
7. Dan. Sorry, but being America’s Player is a downright danger for any houseguest. And our Catholic school teacher has quite the hill to climb if he hopes to survive even two more weeks.
6. April. All it takes is for Renny, Keesha or Libra to survive this week and win next, and our bubbly blonde is in danger.
5. Memphis. IMHO, too many people see him as a threat. He IS a threat, and he did a nice job of avoiding the fray after last night’s eviction, but his perceived abilities — real or not — spell doom.
4. Keesha. Nice girl. Annoying laugh. Now, I know some of you can’t stand her, but I’m speaking in relative terms. Competitively she can survive, but emotionally, she’s a wreck. It will make her appear to be weak, and that could be her game-play saving grace.
3. Renny. My Renny. If she survives to the Final 3, which I think can happen, here lies the problem. That Final 3 competition is likely to be a hardcore competition, and she is not somebody you want to take to the Final 2. Period. Her ability to survive the first couple of weeks here, in combination with her ability to make friends, would make her a likely candidate for eviction with three people left.
2. Michelle. She cusses up a storm. She’s volatile. She’s BB8’s Amber with a Rhode Island accent, but she’s a gamer, and right now she’s in control. Competitively, she’s strong, and in terms of mental manipulation, she’s game. Add to the mix a bit of insanity, and she can stick around for quite awhile, I think.
1. Jerry. Here’s the surprise. I think, and color me the cynic, but I think CBS would love, love, love for the 75-year-old to win this thing. Nevermind that Jerry has weathered weeks of slop and most of the confrontations. Sure, he’s been on the attack a couple of times, but he hasn’t been a subject of any major attacks.
To put this in military terms, given that he’s a Marine, Jerry has waged a good war so far, picking his battles and picking nothing that he can’t win. To me, if I could get in a houseguest’s ear, he’s exactly the player they should work to evict.
On the other hand, I think for Jerry to win would make for a nice story, and we wish his wife well in her battle with Parkinson’s. However, I suspect everybody — us included — are underestimating Jerry’s resilience and ability to manipulate without seeming like the bad guy.
In fact, the label of “old curmudgeon” fits him quite well. And, I think he is absolutely the player to beat right now.
It all could change on the flip of a dime, so watch out!

No BBBlogger I don’t think you have been drinking, but if Jerry ever gets to the final 2 or 3 those competitions are very physical and I don’t personally think he would last.

Interesting evaluation, observations and synopsis. I am somewhat speechless now that you mention the production team. Pulling strings? Something is fishy, and I am not referring to the tanks we see on feeds. Why does BB stop them from talking about production? Are the players being manipulated by the prod team and not each other? I surely hope the answers to my quesions ..is NO! I will still cheer on Keesha, Renny and Dan. Go team go!

Flora, nothing would surprise me. Do you remember when the show “SURVIVOR” announced (or someone else did) that it replayed competitions with other people and that depending on the location, they drove people to the place for final votes in limo’s. (I know, don’t tell me they were surrounded by water) that is when they lost me as a viewer.

She put Keesha up?? It surprises me only because I am watching BBAD and Michelle and Keesha were hashing things out pretty nicley in the HOH room. I KNOW they are both back paddling and you can’t believe everything they say to each other, but I felt a grain of trust and some air clearing going on. I wonder if she said that Keesha was just a pawn? I know Libra is her main target but we all know that being a PAWN is hardly ever as safe in reality as in theory!!! I wonder if Keesha is going to go back and report to Libra or if she is all about just saving her own ass at this point. I dont hate Libra like everyone else seems to. She’s very intelligent, which in itself is a reason to get rid of her, and I know she can be annoying as heck but……I like Keesha and Renny and she is in their alliance and I hate to see it weakened because i want April, Ollie, Jerry OUT!! Plus the 3 *girls* at least talk alot and keep the feeds and BBAD from being entirely comatose!
And BBBlogger, I do see what you are saying about Michelle’s strengths, but Jerry?? Really?? I don’t see it. He annoys everyone to death and he honestly cant do the physical comps, no matter HOW many times a day he works out!! Altho there are only 3 other young studs left in the house. Altho all those guys did lose to APRIL so……..i still don’t see it…unless BB orchestrates it. I personally don’t apllaud it. He doesnt *deserve* it just because he is old and his wife is sick. All the HGS have their reasons and sob stories.

I’m with you on Jerry being weak in the Final 3, but my premise in ranking the Final 9 is that both Jerry and Renny would be in that group. Given that, who ya’ gonna take to the Final 2?
In my scenario, Michelle would win the Final 3 HoH and would be damned either way. Renny would beat her 7-0, but she might get a vote or two against Jerry.
On the other hand, there really isn’t an evel Dick this summer. Let’s give it up to him. He was a masterful player. Do you see anybody else like him this summer? I don’t, so I’m predicting that either of the older players wins this by laying low and garnering votes from the sequester house.

i completly disagree with your standings right now .. jerry is close to number one but not completly it, memphis is higher up … the house is ripping each other a part right now and memphis is sitting at the side because he had no part in it in regards to the voting, everyone will be going after the voters and forget about memphis, as long as he keeps a low radar he should be fine for a while ..

I actually turned OFF BBAD last nite. I got so tired of hearing MANCHELLE’s mouth and how smart she thinks she is because she figured everything out. Loved how she addes KEESHA’s name to the banner…NOW!!! How convenient!
Saw a scrap of the Food Comp. At least Dan’s question about Brett being traded. Dan got it wrong. Poor Dan….he needs to put his cross necklace back on…no matter what Jerrky says.

I just want to ramble a little bit…I love BB10..BUT!!!, I watch the BBAD on SHO and listen to April and Michelle talk last night…Michelle, I LOVE her. April not so much. She has a lot of nerve talking about Keesha betraying her….What has she been doing this whole time? She has been kissing the HOH’s ASS every week, no matter who it is and than gets a side alliance with Jerry? OMG! You have got to be kidding me…Listening to her talk makes me sick…Than she says to Michelle, “I don’t have an alliance with Jerry, he makes me sick.” WTF? I hope that somebody puts her up next week, That girl has to go. I love KEESHA and RENNY…They are my favs….But what is going to happen if Libra goes? The house will be devoid of any thrill and backstabbing as far as I am concerned..Libra DOES stir up the pot and I LOVE IT!!! ahahahah..boooahahahahaha!!!

BTW, I had to turn it off, I agree with NATVTXN, it was sickening to listen to Michelle talk about how people lied and stuff, and how they are rotten people….when she is lying to everybodys face about the banner and than points out how Julie asks Libra ???’s. Which proves she is no good, but I remember Julie asking Michelle about the banner and the look on Michelles face??? Remember, like she was about to be called out on lying????? Anyways, April and Michelle made me sick last night…They need to quit focusing on April so much… I would like to see more of Renny on the BBAD. How about that tantrum Michelle had in the DR??? OMG, you go girl…made me hate her but love her even more…Cannot figure it out except it makes for good BB10 watching and what would we do without all the drama???? Jerry, really? I don’t think so. He has a wearing personality because he’s so predictable. If he makes it to the top 3, I’ll be surprised. As for Manchelle, she’s just plain dirt with an even dirtier mouth. The banner, pleeeeeease. I think Memphis has a chance if he keeps his cool and I’d like to see Dad at the top too. Even though Keesha’s voice drives me nuts, I still like her and Renny.
April & Ollie need to start playing the game. April is the most deceptive on in the house with Manchelle a close 2nd. As for Ollie, I don’t think he can make a statement without qualifying it somehow. Does he have a mind of his own? I think not, his little brain is the only one that’s really working.
I would love to see Libra go this week. She is just plain angry and nasty. I wouldn’t want to meet her in a dark alley with that mean face of hers. UGHLY!

TAMMY, the answer to your question about the “SURVIVOR” show was broadcast on 3-13-07, “101 Most Kept Hollywood Secrets”=Survivor uses body doubles and reshoots scenes. They take SUV to “counsel” at the end of the show when they are voting.
Something else they said (which I take with a grain of salt)
was that Elvis Presley had “Dirty Blonde Hair” which was ‘dyed’ every two weeks!

We all seem to be together on our favorites. I want Michelle to go next week.. I sure someone gets HOH to get her out. That foul mouth needs to get out of there quickly. I hate Jerry won POV. He doen’t have sense enough to do anything on his own. So, he will probably do what Michelle tells him to do. What the others need to do is get together and talk him into taking Keesha off. They did it on Brian. And he did what Jesse, Keesha and April told him to do. Sounds as though anyone can talk hom into whatever they want if they do it right. Did he tell Jesse that Dan swore on his cross to keep Jesse? If so, he us a liar too. Jesse told that in one of his interviews. I really don’t believe Jerry will be in the last 3. At least, I’ll keep hoping.

Be sure to distinguish who you like from who is winning this game. Jerry’s PoV win (again this week) underscores what a solid game he’s playing. I don’t care for the guy; Renny’s my horse in this race. But I’m telling you: He’s the right mix of low-key and power competitor, and NOBODY in the house is even whispering about his ouster.

JERRKY just spent forever, running his foul mouth off, about how he is going to intimitate DAN during the ceremony. He is going to call his “Judas” and tell him he should never wear his cross, and he’ll probably lose his job. Michelle just went “wow!”
I hate JERRKY!! But I hate APRIL even more. I laughed so much last nite on BBAD when she talked/bragged about her “big heart” and how she was going to give Michelle some of her designer accessories. THEN April had the GALL to say, “I bet America just loves me and my big heart!”

Yep, Libra will be leaving. But she has had a great attitude these past few days. Thinks its hilarious how M/O/A/J think she and Dad are AP partners. They continue to make fools of themselves on the Live Feeds. What a bunch of losers.
I switched channels last nite…it was nice to watch something else.
I hope Renny win the next HOH!! She deserves to see some family pics!! Plus, we’ll get the added benefit of seeing her put up APRISSY and OILLY!!

My dad, who is 86, was a marine in WWII and he wouldn’t embarrass himself or the marines by behaving like the complete idiot Jerrky. Jerrky is an embarrassment to the USMC and shouldn’t ever wear the colors. He’s actually more foul than Libra. Somehow it is more vicious and he has to go. But as SoonerRyan said, he doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar often enough. Hopefully, they’ll wise up to April and get her out next. Oilly is just brainless as far as I’m concerned riding on April’s coat tails. Manchelle is a joke and goes on and on about the same things over and over and is absolutely obsessed about Dan and Libra having some kind of connection. She’s an imbecile with the big mouth. AFter reading the logs and watching the Youtubes, here is my prediction:
9. Libra - I loved her, but she messed up by taking the vacation instead of the letter.
8. April - Making a lot of enemies, people see through her.
7. Keesha - The original alliance being destroyed, Keesha won’t be able to talk her way out of it.
6. Jerry - People catch on to him picking on the weaker players.
5. Michelle - She seems a bit out of the loop, but wil go once the guys make a secure alliance.
4. Ollie - Dan and Memphis decide that he is a bigger physical threat than Renny.
3. Renny - The guys know they can’t beat her in a jury vote.
2. Dan - Played the game well, but it is unlikely people will vote for a guy who played the “weak player” role

*Starfish* Totally Agree! It was interesting last night, when April was trying to “school” Ollie. She was telling him how her phone had 25% pro-athletes #’s on it, a few details about her DUI and how she has to always carry a Breathlizer with her, and how she had been married about two months but had it annulled.
Mostly, I thought it was hilarious when she said…”when you date beautiful people, (you’ll learn) Ollie, beautiful people have pasts.”

Anyways..I’m happy that DAN did not get put on the block —
and thankfully Jerry (who I despise!!—he’s such a LIAR) - did not change

Anyway, I have to say that I really like Keesha and Memphis. But, don’t see them winning this game. I also think that too many people have forgotten how this game really operates. The houseguests seem to believe that it’s a crime to break your word, lie, cheat, and be sneaky. Not in the BB house. People are taking it way too personally. Even Keesha is overly sensitive. I’m curious to know if you really do lose your mind a bit when you enter the house. I know most (if not all) of these people have seen the show before. Why do they get so upset. IT’S A GAME FOLKS. You basically have to lie, make / break alliances, throw people under the bus, etc in order to win the whole enchilada. Can you say Dr. Will or Mike Boogy? How about Evel Dick? Come on folks - get a clue!

Michelle has been spending quite a bit of time trying to get A/O to admit who they were voting for. But they just kept changing the subject.
When Michelle asked Jerry if he was still voting out Libra..he said that he was and that he has NEVER broken his word in the House.
Wonder if A/O will go against the house and vote out Keesha. Definitely will make them a target if they do. I bet they will chicken out.

I turned on SHOWTIME at midnight and for the first 18 minutes before the commercial break was spent by Olie, April, Michelle and Jerry ripping apart Dan again. I have never heard a group like this before, especially attack someone who is’nt even on ‘the block’ and of course the biggest instigator is the big-mouth Jerry.
I liked Jerry when he first arrived, but I am beginning to despise him!
