Are Big Brother 9’s Houseguests Actually Starting To Play The Game?
The scene at 9:40 BBT as house guests play pool in the back yard of a very chilly Big Brother house: Adam refers to Crazy James as “JZ,” a play on Jay-Z’s name.
James’ last name is Zinkland.
But Adam is saying things like, “Ahh yeah, JZ. Make that money.”
And I’m thinking, “They have no idea how James makes that paper.”
(Side note: Does James have the worst tattoo in history at the top of his chest, or what? The bolo-tie tattoo is possibly the worst ink in history.)
Alas, the next couple of nights centers on who’s going home: Will it be Alex and Amanda or Matt and Natalie?
So far, it looks like Matt and Natalie will be going home, even though Alex and Amanda were the targets initially. However, proud Alex has refused to campaign, so I wonder if that’s not a killer in the end. But, most of the house guests now realize that Alex actually owns his DJ company, and James mentioned to the group how Alex’ family got money as part of a Sept. 11 settlement.
It’s hard to feel sorry for the rich kid, so I’m at a loss as to what the heck they’ll do.
On the other hand, I’ve noticed a significant difference from last week to this week. The Big Brother game is starting to kick in.
I know, you can boo and hiss and say I’m crazy, and I still don’t like this bunch as much as last year’s. However, as soon as PoV winners Josh and Sharon decided not to use the PoV this week (BTW, Was that a spoiler? I’ll admit it: Once I start getting into the feeds, I pretty much only watch the feeds.), Matt and Natalie went into overdrive, doing anything they can to extend their stay by an extra week.
Furthermore, their campaign comes two days after a marathon argument Saturday night in front of the entire house. Matt went on and on about flirting with every girl in the house, and Natalie maybe said a word every 1,500.
While I know they were arguing about her perception that Matt never pays attention to her, I am not sure that they resolved anything or that Matt once made sense. It still went on for at least an hour, and it was mind-numbing. I suspect they show videos like this at Scientology meetings.
So, I guess what I’m suggesting is that the Big Brother house is moving into that part of the season where the days start to become a little mundane. And the more people leave the house, the more the $500,000 grand prize starts to factor in.
I assure you, these could be the most boring house guests in BB history, but I’m still interested to see what they will do as soon as they can taste it. Frankly, what happens the next 48 hours before the live eviction this week will go a long way in determining whether the remaining house guests are ready to get serious about playing Big Brother or they are content playing house.
My plea to Big Brother: Kill this couples concept right after the live eviction, and let’s play some Big Brother. This house has already proven itself to be full of crazy people, so let them go mano a mano.

Thank goodness someone else said it, this group has to be the most irritating group I have seen (and yes I have seen them all) is that good or bad I’m not sure, but mi god could they get any more boring? Are they serving alchohol?/ I mean can we manage a individual here. What I mean by that is Josh seems to want to be Dustin from last year and Allison (Waaamber).
Not only that but these boys yes I said boys have to be the most disrespectful men I have seen so far towards women and we thought DICK was bad. Their sexual attitude towards women is outright disgusting they see women as objects. It’s like I am watching a bunch of high school senior boys in the locker room when they talk. I don’t know I am losing intrest despite wanting to catch a glimpse somewhere of the BB I once knew.
I know I know sad but true the life of this late thirty something is vacant without all the drama that I am used to by now on the show. The show is definetly lacking BB producers what were you thinking? Because they were young and you coupled them we would be seeing sex every night. Instead we are seeing whining and total disrespect for partners.
AAHHHH I want me some real BB let’s get the age right here all 20 somethings SUCK. Not a winner in the bunch, not a Favorite in the bunch, not even someone to reallllly hate in the bunch.
Maybe it’s the season maybe winter is just not the right time?

I join your plea - kill the couples concept right after the Live Eviction - these players are crazy - so let them loose on one another. By the way, if a couple did win - would they split the $500,000? Also,, in the future, think twice about putting people in the house who are on medicatiion - what happened with Amanda was very unpleasant and the outcome could have been awful for all concerned. Hope the show gets better and that there will be someone to cheer for Rah - Rah -Rah!!!!!!!

I don’t know if I missed a blog or nobody saw BB/AD Sun nite cuz I can’t believe it hasnt come up here yet. Long story short, Nat and Chelsia played STRIPPERS…the down and dirty kind….not the no-touching kind in clubs….and Joshie was their pretty much naked MC!! Argh! My eyes!!!lol Serioulsy tho, I couldnt watch. When I finally ventured to turn it back, they were all naked in the hot tub….making out and sucking body parts! It was the closest thing to an *actual* orgy I have ever seen…all that was missing were the drugs and Im sure if they were allowed , Matty would have supplied them. Come ON, CBS!! This is a horrific mistake! Why don’t you just pust some CSI Miami reruns in its place and take us all out of our MISERY!! They obviously knew they had to give them something else to occupy their feeble minds after that fiasco, so tonite there appeared a chess set and a ball…which they were trying to bowl with. It was actually a relief seeing eveyone clothed and doing some semi-normal stuff!
I dont know about getting BB/AD anymore. It totally ruins the weekly show and maybe the HGs acted like this all along and I was blissfully unaware! And BTW..I havent seen any of the strategy kicking in yet. I think because I only see the late hours, they must be all game-played out by then. And as to it looking like Matt and Nat might go, even tho they are the best eye-candy in the house, I am so tired of seeing pathetic, desperate Nat chase a totally uncaring and jerky Matt that it might be nice to have them gone!

WOW, all you posters here makes my post very easy because I completely agree with all of you.
I’ve NEVER watched any porn in my 67 years (Sorry for giving up my age) but I’ve never lied about my age, it is what it is.
Anyway I’ve never watched any porn or been to any porn websites but after last night (Sunday 2/24) I don’t think I can ever say that again sadfully speaking that I’ve never watched porn, because BB9 and last nights show on Shotime2 was nothing but porn, I understand it was on Shotime2 but it was also Big Brother, is BB getting so far down in the gutter this season that all BB fans has to watch this filthy, nasty stuff?

Star, I already gave a “clean” descrip of Sun. nite’s debauchery on BBB last post. so, I won’t repeat my nausea, except to say Natalie is really missing some DEPTH of the mind. All they hope for is that their lil show made on on “Soup” and that they made SH2 proud!?

CBS should have been more creative with the title of BB9. It should have been one of these: BB9 - No Boundaries; BB9 Slutfest, BB9 Uninhibited, BB9 Classless; BB9 Brain Dead; BB9 Pharmaceutical Playhouse because they’ll all be on antibiotics for life after this. I still can find nothing redeeming at all about any of these houseguests. After the porn over the weekend on BBAD, we quit watching. We don’t even record it because it’s all the same. Last year was the best ever, but I still think the producers were on crack when they hired this group of worthless idiots:
Adam: Needs subtitles when he talks. I can barely understand what he calls English much less even look at the freakish faces he makes a la Eric. Loves the porn since it’s obviously the only action he’s ever had.
Sheila: Anyone over 40 (I’m 48) should be embarrassed that she’s representing our generation.
Natalie: Speaking of “represe’en” Christians should revoke her faith, give her a throat lozenge then duct tape her mouth shut.
Amanda: Drama queen, prick tease, stupid girl with an annoying voice and bad bikinis.
Joshuah: Sadly, he’s a typical hateful queen keeping the stereotype alive and well.
Sharon: May be actually playing the game, but still participates in the porn.
Chelsia: Lopsided brain, lopsided hair, has bad taste in “boys” and has no morals.
James: A freaky carny with bad tattoos, no personality and can’t pick a “side.”
Matt: Another stereotypical East Coast guy. Cute in a way, very annoying in many others. Wants a “conservative” girl? Real women wouldn’t look at him twice.
Allison: I thought she might have a chance until after the porn incident and watching her smack Chelsia on the butt and grabbing her boobs. No class.
Ryan: His girlfriend is Jen, what more do you need to know. He probably used to be a nice guy a long time ago.
Alex: I thought there may be hope for him, but doubtful at this point.
For TRUE fans of Big Brother, these houseguests are more than just bad casting. CBS is simply bringing porn more into the mainstream along with some of their other shows and those of other networks. None of these houseguests have a moral compass, none have integrity or fortitude and they all truly believe they will be “stars” after this and are already planning their amazing careers! And they may be right. I’m sure Larry Flint is watching with bated breath to cast them all in future feature films where they can play themselves. For me, I can only hope the real season of Big Brother will actually have some houseguests I can root for. Right now, none of them deserve the 500k, much less the stipend they receive for “doing” time on in the Big Brother house. =^^=

I had to play the other nights sexcapade for my husband last night. Even my son kept saying “their mother’s must be proud!!!!” That of course was in between the eye muffs-:)
I have to just say that you really cannot use 9-11 money against someone. That is no way to make a buck and they did not get paid enough for what they went through!
Not to be on a total bummer here today but Nat may have a serious problem outside of your slut persona. She was showing everyone how she can lactate. This is a symptoms of the most common type of brain tumor, a Pituitary tumor. More specifically a prolactinoma which can cause horrendous symptoms. I was completely disabled last year due to a Pit tumor and I walked around with it for years knowing it was there but with little side effects until I started losing my vision, could not drive for a year, migraines daily, could not keep my balance, etc.. This is of serious concern. She really needs blood work and an MRI to look for this little bugger!!!! HUGS!!!!
On a lighter note…Did anyone catch the regrets that were being thrown around from the previous night? Even Nat said that she should not have let anyone suck her nipples!!! As if that was all she needs to be concerned about! She cracks me up. Is there anything that we do not know about this chick? HUGS!

I know ryan should leave jen when he finds out she called him a racist, then lied. What an idiot. Its so funny she threw him under and still lost. I think they should give them all bloodtests. I feel bad for chelsia. She is very cool and is stuck with that dirty guy. I hope she doesn’t fall for him. This season does suck. they should at least switch up the partners. everyone will share gameplans people will have to start new strategies and go for new couples. Maybe it will jump start some game play. I think amanda should not have free rein on any food she wants she should get 5 healthy meals and thats it if she wants anything else it should be slop or something comparable. BB10 we’re waiting!

what I have said all along (to myself) is the 4 people nominated should be voted on individually and the remaining 2 are paired up for the next week. That way the deserving partners could stay in the game, the couples get somewhat changed up each week AND maybe somebody that deserves to go home will! I also think that this seasons “cast of characters” were actually on a list of rejects that got mis-filed and ended up in the keeper file!!

The only thing I’d give Natalie is a one way ticket home on a Greyhound bus in the middle of the night. She won’t have regrets because in order to have those you must have a conscience, something lacking in this BB house from any of the houseguests. I think CBS will eventually change the rules as the “couples” quickly fade into oblivion, and probably the jury house, by having them play alone, against each other and former partners. Put ‘em all on slop for the rest of the season with no liquor. Now that’s a twist.
Soonerryan…I also fantasized about them bringing Dick back. He played the BB game in a classic way and never used sex, only a little harmless flirtation. Some say sex sells, but last year, the CBS throw away season, brought them their best ratings ever with very little sexcapades and only a couple of “showmances” that were nothing compared to the porn of this season. Last year was to be the last season of BB, but the houseguests surprised everyone with great BB entertainment. This group is not even entertaining, they are simply pornographic, filthy, diseased bottom dwellers with hopes of fame, like so many of their generation.
I just wish they’d sequester them all, off TV and Showtime, until after November 4th so they can’t vote. =^^=

I am a bit surprised with all the comments here. There really wasn’t an orgy on Sunday night. I’m a mom too and I think you are fooling yourself if you think your kids wouldn’t participate in a party like that. “No! not MY kids” lol I guess what you never find out won’t hurt you.
What I thought was interesting was that James was cornered about gay porn and he didn’t come clean. Actually he went the other way saying he didn’t think porn was something he would do. Interesting that he’s hiding that.
I have to agree with Heather–just shut off your TV’s and wait for BB10 to turn them back on. The show is what it is. Take it or leave it. There has always been sex and nudity in the BB house.

Did you notice how James tried to pry Amanda’s hands away from her face so he could kiss her (after the porn party outside)?
I thought that Adam looked uncomfortable and nervous while sitting in the pool while the kissing was going on. He didn’t act like he really wanted to lick on Natalie when she was writhing around topless on the floor during her “strip tease”. I noticed that later on Sheila asked him if he was a virgin. I also can’t ever understand hardly a word that Adam says.
Wasn’t it creepy when Chelsia kept saying “Happy Birthday Daddy!” during all of that? I am sure her Daddy was thrilled.
Natalie looked so desperate in the pool begging Matt for kisses. After he literally threw her away from him more than once, you would think she would have gotten the hint. Natalie, honey he just isn’t into you.
Something rubs me the wrong way about Allison. For one thing, she knows that Ryan has a girlfriend but it seems like she insists on dropping little rude comments about Jen whenever she gets the chance. Get over it, Allison.
I was wondering also why they blurred out James’ tattoo. I thought it was a cartoonish picture of a leprechaun with a small cross next to it. His tattoos look so gross.
Did anyone notice when I think it was Alex that asked James (while they were in the hot tub or pool) if he would ever have a problem doing gay porn? The look on James’ face was very telling and he kind of hesitated and then said no..it wasn’t really his thing.
I saw Natalie showing the girls last night how she could still produce milk. That was disturbing. Equally disturbing was how Amanda kept urging her to show Alex. Why?!?
Sometimes I feel torn about Natalie. I don’t hate her. I think she has some abandonment issues or something. I enjoyed watching her and Josh painting together and Amanda’s horrible attempt at her own “artistic” creation. Natalie did a pretty good job painting a portrait of Josh too.
I keep hoping that Big Brother will allow them to “break up” with their soulmates. Sheila has been throwing that idea around.
Does anyone know if they are going to have a Big Brother 10 for sure? I won’t be surprised if this is the last one. When I think of how the first season was compared to this one…oh my.

I agree with all the above posts. This is by far the worst cast ever. It’s like watching the movie “Animal House” but without any acting talent. They sure have picked from the bottom of the barrell with most of these people. I didn’t understand from the beginning why they didn’t have a more diverse group. I mean every other BB prior to this one had people from all different ages, parts of the country, and backgrounds. That’s where the conflicts would come from - not these whiney, whimpering, little frat boys and girls who truly have no goals other than to see who can be the next adult film star. I used to enjoy the conflicts because there was always something that someone watching could relate to. This is just mindless. I was out of town for the last week and had showtime in the hotel room. I was able to see the worst of the worst by watching a couple of nights. Glad I didn’t order showtime this time around. What a waste! Anyway, I’m definitely looking forward to BB10. I’m hoping that Big Brother will get a look at some of these posts and get a clue. Get back to basics. I mean afterall……….it was a writer’s strike - not a casting agent strike. Puhlease!!!!

FINALLY, Alli was able to talk some sense into Alex and get him to start campaigning. He had mentioned how the DR was not happy with his lack of doing so. Alli told him it made him a better person but not a better player.
He took it to heart and has been making her rounds. Of course, the power couples at the moment are A/R and J/S. Alli is being fickle or just playing the game really well. She’s a tricky one to figure out. Alli feels she can manipulate Matt and Josh feels he can manipulate Amanda. But Josh even mentioned to Sharon that they might just go on ahead and vote for M/N so James and Chels are the only ones who betrayed them. Who knows? This will be a real interesting eviction!!

To all the nieve folks out here, yes the late night stuff is what goes on. The network broadcasts are all edited except for the evictions.
Don’t blame Showtime for the way these “childish” adults are acting, it’s as much societys fault as it is as showtime. Just look at regular TV or the movies. IMHO these people reflct what they grew up with … “Girls gone Wild”, brroadcasts of New Orleans during Mardi Gra. and on and on.

I’m probably in the minority and its probably not going to go the way I would like tomorrow, but I’d prefer A/A to stay and N/M to go. I can’t stand to look at or hear Nat. She’s so over the top and ridiculous at the things she has done on this show, but then again they are all a bit over the top.
That was disturbing to watch the whole Amanda passing out thing, as I had only seen clips before. I never saw (it never showed) Allison all swollen but it was disturbing to hear her through the doorway.
back to showtime, they are really doing some game playing (at least a bit) tonight.

Evel Me I watched showtime last night for about 1 hour, made if a little longer last night and I look to me that game play was on. So the game might me getting a little better. We can only hope. But at least there was not as much skin showing.
I am going to put my two cents in about the players
Each are in there for themself but it is a game.
and they are all just NUTS.
Hoping for the best expect the worst.

Evel Me, totally agree. Alli did a good job playing Amanda last nite after hearing her plea. It made you feel sorry for Amanda. Uh, did anyone else notice Alli’s bad hair? Being pulled back like that, makes her look like a dog! I just don’t get WHY they want to keep Matt/Nat (except Alli thinks since they are a strong couple they will be able to ally w/ and protect them til the end) She DID seal this with a KISS w/ Matt.! Alli is relishing her power trip.

Josh did threaten to take Alli down, but thankfully didn’t. He is setting himself up as a target. Alli wants him gone, so I guess she’ll get her new toy boy, Matt to help her. Watching Alli skip thru the house last nite??!! Too much!
Dang! It’s actually freezing here in Destin, FL !!! The day before, we were wearing shorts. I wish the weather would make up its mind. Extended family got four inches of snow in Michigan, yesterday.
Well, it’s going to be sad to see A/A leaving tonite. At least Amanda should like her MySpace Fan Page. Someone did a great job with her pics!!

Was I the only one who was so friggin annoyed last night with lil ms Alli. I thought I was watching the Allison show, her poor me in the first 2 weeks was enough the second time I heard it last night on Sho2, but come on girl over and over and over. She is always saying how there is “personal” and there is “the game” wtf is she trying to say. She wasn’t effected by Jen and Amanda teasing the way she dressed etc, now remember I still have to go back and watch ep 1 and 2 so i am not sure how BRUTAL it was,but I was literally yelling at the tv last night so much so hubby turns over at 230 am and goes “what in hell is wrong with you!” (poor guy married to a night owl over 13 years and now has to deal with sho2 and me lol).
So back to Allison.. She reminds me of Zack last year with the chess game, enough with the freakin chess. I loved it when Josh said he was going to hide the pieces lmao.
And when she was up in the HOH last night (tue) like she was holding court give me a f’in break. Then she goes downstairs to school Amanda on how things you say in life come back to haunt you in life but esp in this house (nooo really Ali) and how she “literally went through hell” (7 times said) her first 2 weeks. Oh and if she said how “adorrrrrraaaabbble” (too many time to count) Amanda and or Alex were one more time.
I know I know I should’ve changed the channel but it was like a car wreck you don’t want to keep watching but you do.
I found myself flipping back and forth between BB9 and old reruns of Alice LMAO (showing my age) waiting for wings to literally sprout out of Allison’s back and a beam of white light to come down, the angels sing and Allison slowly float back to heaven where she came from since she is so holier than thou for even speaking to Amanda. I wanted to implant my brain in Amanda’s at that moment to at least give her some kind of backbone.
But alas everytime I watched Mel yell at Flo something pulled me to hit the back button and BOOM there was our new so called mastermind of the game Allison saying her fav two words ME AND I in a sentence over and over again.
I hope Josh gets lil ms victim Ali and shows her a thing or two about gameplay.
Again a girl can only hope…
