Adam Wins Big Brother 9 with 6 of the 7 Jury Votes
Yes. I watched on Sunday….and I still have a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. How did Adam win Big Brother 9. Either he is the smartest player to ever play Big Brother or he just was always “never a threat” and people thought he was just window dressing the whole season.
All I know is after the first episode….I was NOT an Adam and Sheila fan. In fact, I am still wondering if the house is kicking themselves for not getting rid of them early in the game. I know that initially it seemed like that would happen and part of me is a little sad it didn’t. We would have had a much different ending to Season 9. The final 3 would have been Ryan and 2 other house guests and for sure a different ending.
So was Adam deserving? The easy answer is yes. He won. He lasted to the end and was able to get the Jury to side with him.
As far as the finale, it was nice seeing old house guests in the crowd. It was nice to see the first house guests who were eliminated and everyone all getting back together.
So here is where I believe CBS really drops the ball…why do they not have another hour to the show (or even 30 minutes) to talk with the house guests and get their take from what all happened. I do understand that the final 2 would have been cut off from the world and to thrust them into a live TV show setting after leaving the house would be a little tough….but still…I think the fans should be able to hear from the house guests about their experience.
Overall, it was an interesting season. I give props to CBS for trying something new with the pairing them up as couples angle…..however, I think it was not as well received due to the success of Big Brother 8 and the generic feel to all the personalities in the house. They were all young and single and looking for love (which makes sense however it did not make for very good Big Brother watching).
So here is where I am….Big Brother 9 is done. I am looking forward to Big Brother 10. I am going to make sure the blog is back and better than ever with some new features. (that I cannot share with you quite yet but they are AWESOME!)

Glad to see White Trash LL Ryan did not win the big bucks. Sad to say he won 60 grand. Adam won because he did not real piss anyone off except Sheila at times.

i agree how the heck did he just walk away with the 1/2 mil…and ryan only gets 50,000…that spread needs to be made smaller…150 and 400,000 or 200 and 300…450 spread is too big when idiots are voting for you or not becuase they hate you current girl friend…ryan played that game to a T and adam played well but not nearly to ryan’s level and the guy just got the screw job of the season…let’s hope that a huge chunk of that money goes to the kids…bring on july 13th…hopefully the next group of cast members will not be kids…let’s get some 40-30 and just 1 or 2 kids…and please find some way to take the total vote away from the SEQ HOUSE…

I was glad that Adam won. He flew under the radar and I think he played the game well. He didn’t lie to much and he tried to get along with everyone. He is an annoying person and I don’t think a very likeable person but as far as the game went he did well and he gave a very good answer as to what he would do with the money.
Ryan was to cocky and self asured and I am so glad he did not win.
Sheila should not have even been in the final three (3) because she was so winy?
They all played the game for the money and she should learn from past big brothers no one cares how bad you may need that money.

I agree that the show should have been longer. We only got to hear from Jen and Allison. I wish they didn’t feel the need to recap the entire season. Faithfull watchers know what happened. Without the recaps there would be time for better and longer interviews. I would also like to see some of the wrap party. That would make for good TV.

How can you say that Ryan played such a good game and Adam skated?????? Ryan could have taken Shelia or Sharon to the end and beat them easily. He choose Adam who had clearly not pissed anyone off and if he won was going to give his money to charity even if you hated them both Adam seems the lesser of two evils. Thats just stupid on Ryans part. Adam is a freakin’ genius.

Ryan made a bad choice….but I think he went with his heart believe it or not. Not the way to play BB ever.

I’m a little surprised Adam wasn’t taken to task about his offensive comments about people with autism and all the uproar he caused. I wanted Ryan to win but knew he didn’t have a chance with the jury. Honestly I don’t think he would have won even if he went against Sharon or Shelia. He just didn’t have the votes no matter which way he turned as the jury truely wasn’t voting for the best player.
Oh well. This was the worst season but it did finally grow on me once they broke up the couple angle. I love the show and look forward to BB10.

Ryan deserved to win since he won more contests. Agree with Patty that Adam
had so many crude habits as well as the autism situation. Read that he lost his
job. Sure would have liked to see more of the HG on the Finale and possibly
some of the wrap party. Did they ever tell them about the last relationship
or I missed it.(GP)

Did anyone else have problems voting for Americas Favorite Juror??/ It wouldn’t let me vote, at first I thought it was a glitch in my computer…but my sister couldn’t vote either…which makes me believe…that no one could vote and that CBS knew who they wanted to win that money.

There were great reasons for voting for Ryan, and many reasons for not voting for Adam.
Unfortuantely, I do not agree with Josh’s reason for Ryan.
I was astounded when Adam won 6-1.
Ryan really was a good player, and I thought flew lower under the radar after the first week.
Even tho I was raised in the greater Philadelphia area, I had no “local commitment” to Adam.
I only hope that he lives us to his statement of donating to charity.

I was able to vote with no problems at all. Did vote for James did not want Sheila to have a dime. She was nothing but very greedy. she really thinks that the world owed her since she was a single mom. The only thing i can say to that is a woman can run faster with her skirt up then a man can run with is pans down.

I thought the season finale on Sunday was anti climactic and boring. I too would have liked to had more interview time with houseguests that had seen the show. It would have made things more interesting for sure. Oh well, glad this season is in the can. Now we can move on to hopefully a better season starting in July.

Being on the west coast, I didn’t even try to vote for my favorite juror. I knew the polls had closed 3 hours earlier. But, I would not have voted for Shiela. I’m a single mom and have never felt that justified thinking the world owed me something. I just earn my money life most everyone else.

Bluuuumer, some food for thought. Since Big Brother 9 has been on the air this year, the show “The Price is Right, Millionaire” (night time version) has had 3 THREE different millionaires and they were only there for 1 ONE night. Regarding BB what’s the point in coming in first if there’s not much of a difference between first and second place?
As I said yesterday, I agree that the finale show should be longer and answer some unanswered questions. A few weeks ago I saw that “still” picture of James having sex with another guy. I’m not homophobic, but how was he voted “the favorite juror”? I made the mistake of not trying to vote for the favorite, but if what I’m reading on this site is indicative on other sites of people trying to vote and can’t get through, I think CBS has some answering to do. Three people so far on this site said they could’nt get through. I wonder if you took a poll what the answer would be?
Moderator, congratulations on your marriage. I hope it lasts 50 years! Then you can tell your great-grand children you use to do a blog site for Big Brother 20, lol.

As soon as Adam made that speech to the jury members about giving 100,000 to an autism charity I said to the folks around me, he’ll win 7 -0. Ryan realized it too. His lame speech about helping his mom and, oh yeah, giving some money to a charity looked pitiful next to Adam. I have wondered from the first night if Adam is, in fact, a functioning autistic. I think he is. The way he spoke and acted. I’m not putting him down. He played a reasonable game and won.
What did everybody make of the promo about the next big brother? If CBS is smart they will get Evil Dick involved in some way. He is ratings magic. Think they had to pay some of those former house guests to sit in the audience. Is there a blog or web site that tracks former house guests? I’d like to see what happened to Amber after the show with her anti-semitic comments.

Myself, I kinda dig the nudity. The problem is, the best-looking girl got voted ou early on. Natalie, Chelsia, and Sheila didn’t do much for me. I didn’t like the overly-vulgar language all the time though.
I didn’t really like any of this year’s bunch (except maybe Alex). I rooted for Natalie because she’s from the Northwest, as I am. I ignore the skanky history, because she seems like a good-hearted person. But, she really started to get on my nerves with the God, and Jesus thing. He has better things to do then pay attention to Big Brother.
I started out liking Chelsia a little bit, but she turned into the biggest, nastiest, most spiteful little b.**ch of the whole bunch. She carried her bitterness to the very end. Hated her after awhile.
Totally, hated Joshuah most of all. He gives gay people a bad name. He was the meanest, cruelest one of the bunch. He went way too far overboard with his personal attacks. etc. etc. He also acted like a complete belligerant ass until the very end.
I wasn’t particularly fond of James. He might have played the best game of all, saving himself time after time. I don’t care if he does it with farm animals. His sexual activity shouldn’t have anything to do with how he played the game, and whether we should have voted if he had made the final two.
I was basically indifferent to all the rest. Last year, I DVR’d Showtimt Too, and watched almost every House Calls. This year except for watching the program itself, I just logged onto Morty and followed the feeds that way.
I would be extremely thrilled if they would go back to Good Old Big Brother instead of dinking with everything. The obvious attempts by BB to rig the contest hit me very wrong also.
A lot of people I see really liked BB9. They must really be true BB junkies, because I found many more things I didn’t like that those I did.
Let’s hope they get a better bunch of people for BB10, and clean it up a bit. It did go way too far in a lot of ways. (I still don’t mind the nudity, if the chick is hot, though)

I agree that Adam skated through the game and did not deserve the money at all!!!! I was so disappointed in this season!!! What I really want to see is the players reactions to getting out of the house. James has a secret and I am not sure if you remember but the ladies were wanted a guest appearance from Health Ledger not knowing he passed!!!!! All those odd things-:)

Voting for the favorite house guest was during the live show which aired on the East coast. The west coast viewers were not given the opportunity to vote since the “live” show is really taped. From what I understand, if you live on the west coast you can subscribe through The Dish, etc. to receive the east coast programming live. Take care everyone!

Well I am a BIG BB fan and I thought Ryan should have won. He did play the best and Adam just flew under the radar. He do need a spine like Chelsia told him. He was a floater more than Natalie. It should have been Ryan and Natalie in the end not Sharon because if Sharon stayed she would have won over Ryan also because everybody love them some MAMA SHARON!
